Dr_PepPeR
That's because the NAV is usually determined only at around 3 to 4pm. By that time, the banks have already closed their doors. Quote Link to comment

This is the (DANGEROUS) belief that by climbing the social ladder, you are also improving your financial stability. This wrong belief is the reason why many people are poor. blue+george
My friend has an investible fund now of about P500k, what advice can I give him as to where he can invest it? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks. the best investment is a business. if the cash holder is not keen on a business, get a partner and start one. if still not interested, invest in stocks, but better know what you are getting in to. if still not interested then get a time savings account, if still not interested, get into mutual funds. (mutual funds are prone to mismanagement) make sure you can pull out your investment anytime at market rate. remember you let other people use your money, they profit, they give you pennies. when their chosen vehicles falter, you take all the losses. blue+george
HI guys, I would like to ask what you think is the best investment strategy which is a one time deposit stuff for an amount of about 50K. would it be better for me to go for banks or would it be better for me to go for philam or sunlife? I am also willing to try the high risk types which are supposedly yield higher interest Thanks in advance! no point. try to learn about interest rates po. the more options you have the better you can choose for yourself. when money is working for you, remember to take note of risks. uulitin ko risks. so try to learn the risks of your chosen vehicle of investment. study the process and computations and better yet talk to one of their clients, what did he do and what did he get. experience is the best teacher of all, especially kung experience ng iba, para hindi u na uulitin ang mali ng iba.
