Eclipseguy
I filmed it, but Coach Elaine is the audio/video expert...and I have no idea where she is tonight cuz she would be the one to upload it. Hopefully tomorrow... This is the dynamic row followed by the Power Snatch, Power Clean, and High pull: Quote Link to comment

That was one of our assistant coaches. You have to look in front or look up as looking down may cause your back to arch in the dynamic row For the power snatch, the jumping motion becomes secondary after a time. At first you practice tip toeing Quote Link to comment
Eclipseguy
nice vid, im really impressed!!! :thumbsupsmiley: was that EG doing the demos? Nope...EG doesn't let anyone touch his camera...except EG (So obviously that means that I filmed it ) Quote Link to comment

crazykalbo
well kasi talaga naman mas better ang compound sa isolation. hehe. health, fat burning, muscle building benefits.. compound workouts are better. Quote Link to comment
Pepeng Manas
I agree. Better in a sense that you build muscle more efficiently to a point that you encourage proportion strength and muscle development. They key word is better. Doesn't mean I totally forego "isolations." Quote Link to comment
boy_tusok
just a thought on this argument. i've been doing tricep ext. since i went back to the gym last year occasionally doing unilateral tricep ext. about a month ago i changed my routine and started doing dips(bodyweight). last wed. i tried doing the tricep ext. again and found that my strenght has roughly doubled. compound exercises is the way to go! Larry
like one fitness trainer said "Nothing in life requires an isolated movement, so why train that way?" Quote Link to comment

I'm glad that you were able to figure that out man. For me, you can never really rely on "isolations" to build strength. For the basic reason that less muscles become involved during the execution.
