agentorange99
Compound and Isolation exercises go hand in hand. Compound lifts are pretty much "king" for muscle building as it targets different muscle groups at the same time. On the other hand, isolation exercises can be beneficial when you have lagging muscle part that you want to specifically improve on to build more muscle. Quote Link to comment

Flash Sentry
There's really no such thing as a better one here. Both have their advantages. Compound exercises are great since they would involve other muscle groups. Isolation exercises are great for a more specific, targeted area. Both have their places in any workout program. momo421
Hey guys. I suggest do bodyweight training coz by doing pullups, pushups, dips and squats will make you strong for your weight. And eventually lalakas din kayo to add weight in those lifts. You can also do isolation exercises using bodyweight like tricep extensions and bar curls for biceps Quote Link to comment

You can also do isolation exercises using bodyweight like tricep extensions and bar curls for biceps Body weight training is good and can be a good start for those getting into fitness. However, body weight training doesn't have progressive overload, which is essential for building larger muscles. It can be good for definition, but not mass. The best is to combine body weight training with training with equipment. For example, I still do push-ups every now and then even if I do flat bench presses most of the time. I also do pull ups and chin ups for my lats in place of a lat machine since I have yet to take care of the lat machine cables here at home. Quote Link to comment
Gwen Morales
Try mo yung 8×8 program sa triceps mo. 8sets 8 reps, 15-30 secs rest lang in between sets.Natakot ako sa sets nya! Hehehe. Sige po, try ko. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
shinyshiny2
I still go for compound exercises or drill type exercises. For example, buhat balde, lagay sa balikat, akyat stairs set it down. do it continously for 20 min. Practical challenge siya and magagamit in real life. Yun nga lang higher chances of injury.
