Condo Unit Or House & Lot?

for single individuals or starting couple living and working in the city, condo living is more convenient. But for some people with a growing family, suburban living suits them well. I prefer having my own lot and customizing my house according to my lifestyle.

I'd love to have house and lot. I hope my parents give me the house or at least one of our lands 🥹. I know my goal is to succeed in my career and to be able to afford buying either a condo or a house but it's still nice to be able to go back where I lived most of my life.

House ties you up.  When you/your family needs to move for work, opportunities, adventure, it's always nice to just be able to lock your condo or have a building manager rent it out for you.

It's no longer safe also to leave your kids playing in your yard.

Also, it's a globalized world  You can't really tell where you'd end up.  I went from North to South in Philippines West to East in US.

I'm beginning to think this question of house vs condo has a correct answer - condo.

That depends on your future plans and your current financial capability.

Condo - for me investment and for rental purposes sya. I got 2 studio properties in the same condo building in Shaw Blvd. Parehas naka 1 year lease so somehow self sufficient sya in terms of the monthly mortgages. Pwede ko din lipatan if in case na mabalik ako sa RTO status as most of the companies are located in CBDs (Makati, Ortigas and BGC)

I bought H&L din outside metro manila just because gusto ko din talaga magkaroon ng sariling tirahan na may backyard.

but at the same time, alam kong iiwanan ko din ang pilipinas soon.

- **Choose a Condo** if you prioritize convenience, urban access, and low maintenance.
- **Choose a House & Lot** if you seek space, autonomy, and long-term growth.

Evaluate local market trends, visit properties, and consult financial advisors to make an informed decision tailored to your needs.
