I prefer a condo unit in Metro Manila especially in either Makati, Ortigas, BGC or QC. Much desirable if it is a 3-bedroom unit in a tower that is only walking distance from my office. For all practical purposes. A 3-bedroom unit usually comes with one or two parking spaces. So I'd be able to get away with the usual traffic jam of the metropolis.
