Condo Unit Or House & Lot?

There are condos in the rurals.  Batangas has condos by the beach, Tagaytay has condos by the hills, then you have Mactan condos as well.

I am one who chooses condos.  Condos come in different sizes also, some are bigger than houses.   Why buy space that is not needed?  You will just pay extra for it especially in cooling it and electricity is very expensive in Pinas and that is 24/7 expense.    Would you rather pay P10K per month or P6K per month in electricity?

I'd choose house instead of a condo. A house you can call your own and live peacefully is way better than living in a cramped space with tight security and so many rules you need to follow.

Kung Investment go for house and lot. Condo is a good investment too kung ipapa rent mo / flip it into an airbnb.

If solo ka lang, condo, if with family, iba pa rin may sariling house and lot.

Both are ok. There are advantages and disadvantages in both cases.

For families house and lot is better for me as it can be passed down and generally lasts longer than condo units.
