Short term, condo. Solid pag mag-isa, pati pag may inuuwi hehe. Pero long term, definitely house and lot. Nag-aapreciate value nyan, practical.

I’ve always preferred living in my own house/lot, until I’ve experienced condo living. But if you can have both why not?

 

The house/lot as permanent residence & the condo as seasonal residence or source of passive income through rental.

House n lot - resale value

Age 0-5 - Condo (kid lifesyle)

Age 6-20 - H&L/Townhouse (student lifestyle)

Age 21-35 - Condo (single lifestyle, dating and enjoying freedom, close to work, have kid/s starting 30)

Age 35-55 - H&L/Townhouse (parent lifestyle; kids at 6-20;; nice 3 B/R where they family grows up together; near good schools)

Age 56+ - Condo (retirement lifestyle; low maintenance,back to living close to work, everything you need is around it for dining and relaxation).
