grappelli
Hey guys, where is a good place to hang out for some drinks and music of this kind? There used to be a place called Vintage Bar in Pasay Road that I frequent so many years ago, but it is now closed. Any recommendations? There was one in Aurora Blvd but it's closed now. Analog audio source, from turntables. The owner is a collector of LPs. I think it was in this forum whee I read that there's a joint also along the street behind Q.C. Hall playing LPs, 70s music. I do not know if it's still exists. At Chef & Brewer in the Ortigas area, 60s music were being played by a band composed of former combo players in the mid-60s called the Atoms, a regular in the defunct Nineteeners TV show. They used to play at C&F Thursday nights. My latest info is that the group is now playing at Sofitel. I hope that something like the Vintage Bar will be set up again. I'm sure it will have a regular clientele. Quote Link to comment
