I love open-world games. No longer do we have to suffer a loading screen every time we progress through a level. In fact, there are no levels in open-world games per se, only the progression of your character in that world. Moreover, because it is open world, you can do pretty much anything you want, and the consequences of your actions, or lack thereof, can shape events, alter the storyline, or even affect the behavior of the characters you interact with in the game. Witcher 3 is a superb example.
