thedarkangel
hi everyone. i am a 5800 user having v40 as my firmware. So far i haven't experienced hang up using v40. By the way...my battery lasts 1.5 days before it will drain. My only secret is to lower the light sensor, turn off your vibration in general profile, and set your lock on timer to its minimum setting. Quote Link to comment
daredevil67011
Marami talagang bugs yung phone. That's why it's important that you update your firmware regularly (or as soon as a new firmware becomes available) para maayos yung mga bugs. And yes, na-experience ko rin yung nawawala bigla yung data ko from the memory card. Pero when i bought a third-party MMC, di na ulit nangyari yun. Quote Link to comment
Guest Dobermaxx
I just downloaded the Ovi Maps 3 with the free navigation. So far it's been excellent. It just makes a great phone even better. Quote Link to comment
scorpionking2
is it really that bad? Quote Link to comment
bbadwidme
Its not bad, but being Nokia's first Touchscreen (actually they had a touchscreen model several years before but it used a different OS), it has its share of growth pains. The first major firmware revision v20/v21 brought performance improvement by raising the clock speed of the ARM processor. The next major firmware revision v30/v31 brought stability fixes. The next major revision v40 (and later on v41) brings kinetic scrolling as well as more performance and stability improvement. standingmic
Not recommending the SE X1. . Not user friendly at all. Rather, get an HTC Touchflo 2, Samsung Omnia II or even an N97. :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment

remoteworld
I just downloaded the Ovi Maps 3 with the free navigation. So far it's been excellent. It just makes a great phone even better.for those who have problems installing garmin xt (really rather tedious to do so), you may opt to use ovi maps. ovi maps provide decent maps for metro manila, metro cebu and baguio. can't say the same thing about the other cities (bacolod, naga, etc. were sparcely plotted at best, though i expect improvements in future versions of ovi maps). the provincial major roads were present so it's rather helpful to casual tourists. since most of our travelling is done in metro manila, you'd appreciate its well-drawn street maps. VinceThePrince
Mas ok ba ang 5800 kesa sa 5230 at 5530? Quote Link to comment
remoteworld
Mas ok ba ang 5800 kesa sa 5230 at 5530? depends on the features you want in a phone: whether or not you want a keyboard or a bigger screen, etc. Quote Link to comment
