I currently own a restaurant and no, I am not going to do a plug. I just want to find out from those of you that enjoy Ceasar Salad, where you've tasted a really good one. It is my intention to try out these places to see what makes them enjoyable and also to see what improvements I may need to do (if at all) to our existing recipe. Hope to hear from you guys and gals. Thanks.

By the way, if you also fancy Oysters Rockefeller, can you tell me where you tasted a good one. Thanks again.

ceasar salad- chili's. dressing, dressing dressing. just the right amount and right degree of acidity

oyster- hyatt casino hotel, via mare- lot to do with freshness of oyster, green onion and parsley and quality of olive oil. breadcrumbs should not have that oily staling taste and shouldnt be too finely ground as this tend to disrupt texture contrast with the oyster

good luck with your resto. just me know where and when its open

for somethng that is commercially available i would go for California Pizza Kitchen's Caesar Salad - very good but i find the croutons enormous hahahahha.

nothing like a homemade one from scratch, all that fresh garlic, lemon, dijon mustard, olive oil, worcestershire sauce, cracked peppers, fresh yolks and parmesan cheese. bring out the lettuce and sprnkle the croutons. then dive in with the dressing all over.

Is the Ceasar salad at Mario's still good? The best Mario's CS I've had was the one they made from scratch right by the table. That was a long time ago. Anyone know if Mario's Kitchen CS tastes the same as the original?

ANother good one was the one in Minggoy's- before the advent of the offshoots like Uno Mas, etc. They also served good oysters in white wine and deep fried oysters. They source their oysters from Roxas city, and have a branch at the Roxas City airport.

The Ceasar Salad at Mario's has not changed at all, which is to say, it is still their best seller. The Ceasar Salad at Mario's Kitchen is exactly the same recipe minus the fancy preparation beside your table. Since it is a casual dining restaurant, it has to be more informal. The taste has not changed though.

Mario's Kitchen has branches in Ermita, Metrowalk, and Tiendesitas (end of April) . Hope you visit again sometime. We always welcome feedback in order to know how the restaurant is faring with respect to service and food quality.
