Screwtape
Just 2 things to check; 1. Check your MMC for protection notch parang yung kagaya sa mga 3.5" Floppy disks 2. Check your reader if it's also a writer  I have never seen a card reader that has write restrictions. But I've had mine eversince they still sold 64MB cards like they were gold and so that was ages ago... Still, it's difficult to imagine some manufacturer selling a card reader that actually only reads a card. My money is on the card... the problem lies there. Quote Link to comment

When I see something here that I feel might not be 100% correct, or I know that is contrary to what I know is true... then that's what I do... I offer my opinion. There are no personal attacks involved here. I would actually like to think that when other tech guys read my post and see that based on their experience, what I'm saying might not be true, I would like to hope that they would correct me as well. We're discussing tech issues here, why do people have to be so sensitive about being corrected and take it personally? Quote Link to comment

Same here bro, I'm open to any corrections with my posts just like what I did when you raised a comment on my post about the OS reinstallation, so, I corrected my own post and I'm thankful to the other tech guys like you because your comments make my posting better when giving out technical advises although I just started lurking around this thread, don't worry i'm not a sensitive type and I don't take things like this personally. let's just forget about this, the important thing is we were able to give some technical answers about the memory card problem. peace  Quote Link to comment

namanama
I have my Nokia 6600 phone and a bluetooth usb adapter connected to my pc. N6600 phones don't use a USB cable, so I have only 2 choices, either infrared or bluetooth, to connect my phone to PC. PROBLEM:I bought a Billionton Bluetooth USB Adapter Class 1 (Widcomm). I installed the driver in my pc (Windows XP SP3) and afterwards, I installed PC Suite for Nokia 6600. I was able to connect my phone to PC. I was able to transfer files from my PC to my Phone. The problem is: I wasn't able to transfer files from my phone to PC. It says, "Unable to connect, Max. number of bluetooth connections already in use" when I try to send a file through bluetooth from my phone. I have to transfer the pictures I got from my phone to PC asap. Did anyone encounter this problem before?? Can anyone help me solve this problem?? I will really appreciate it if you would help me with this. Quote Link to comment
Google
can you give more details? your BT adapter should be plug and play under Win XP. by installing the driver, mukhang naka conflict yung device mo. try to have it checked under the device manager. malamang yan, may ! (exclamation point) yan, which means, device is not properly installed or conflicts with another device. try to remove the conflicts first and try again. if it does not work, remove all of your BT devices, and insert the BT device again. do not install the device driver anymore. There are no conflicts with another device and it is properly installed based on its position in the Device Manager. I will try not to install the device driver and reinsert the dongle, that may work. Thank you for answering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment

I forgot to have it unlocked (open-line) by our tech guys in Manila. My problem is Im unable to use their local sims here. Aussies doesnt know how to unlock it or either refuses to unlock the damn phone coz its like illegal for them. Is there some kind of a software I can download online to have this phone unlocked??? Pls.. help.. Quote Link to comment
Google
as far as i know, there are no self-unlocking software that you can use there.and as far as i know, P990 can't be unlocked here in Manila. but i could be wrong though. my suggestion is to have someone here in the Philippines ask the guys there at greenhills if it is possible, and send the phone here, have it unlocked, and send it back there. kmc143
I have a US-sourced Nokia cellphone that works on GSM 850/1900 frequency. I know the Philippines works on the 900/1800 Frequency. Can I bring a 850/1900 phone and have it modified in the Philippines so it will work? How much do think this will cost? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
