Lost my mom who had Lung Cancer during the first year of COVID started. I guess she got lonely because she couldn't do the things she wanted. Months after she passed I was in a clinically depressed state only realized when I got to speak to a Psych who told me I was. Took me a year to get over it and get back on my feet.

Salamat. Very informative.

Is it something physiological or psychological?

Thanks for sharing. Confession is good for the soul, they say.

I lost my father to COVID, too, and there were times during the grieving period when things were pretty black. As hard a diagnosis is of clinical depression, there are effective treatments and I hope that you've recovered fully.

Thanks mate, I hope you've recovered too. There are a lot of ways but one thing I have proven effective more than the meds are support groups. Doesn't matter if its a friend, relative or your sibling as long you can talk and they can talk some sense into you. Hardest thing for people battling depression is that they themselves need to realize that the solution is inside them- not on the meds, therapy, talks etc. Once I realized I needed to "stop" that's when I started to feel better.

Hoping everyone gets back on track!
