Google
rubbing compounds will only work on small scratches, it will not work if the scratch goes off a few layers of paint. kung malalim, or if kita yung paint layers below the surface, pa retouch mo na lang. Quote Link to comment
deadpool
electrical and mechanical. pero pag a/c and internal (piston ring, piston, cams, etc.) sa shop na yun. Quote Link to comment
Rushman13
most detailing places can help you get rid of scratches. just look for the bigger carwashes (they usually double as detailing places as well) prices really vary by place and by the scratch...hth Quote Link to comment
pearlwhitebushwhacker
as much as I can yes. There may come a time when I won't have the time to do things on my own, at least if I have it done by a shop or a mechanic I would be able to tell if they did the right thing, or if they actually did what they claimed to have done. I have heard a lot of horror stories about big named shops cutting corners on fixes. sometimes just cleaning stuff rather than actually fixing it. Although its obviously hard tinkering around with your own stuff, (not to mention the tools needed) the satisfaction you get in fixing up your own car is priceless. So far the best investment I have made on my car is the dependable toolset. Quote Link to comment

Solitude00
Anyone know of an auto detailer that performs major windshield scratch removal? I've got an approximately 2" x 2" big fricking X on my windshield. It's not yet down to the laminate and it's still water proof and all, but it looks terrible. I'd really rather not have to replace the windshield itself ... medyo mahal na rin yon. I'm hoping there's a detailing shop that can do this ... none of the general purpose repair shops / car wash shops in my area offer this service. Thanks all. Quote Link to comment

otitismedia
good day ! does anybody knows how much it will cost me to have my power power steering hose replaced or fix? anyone knows a good shop near P.Ocampo (formerly Vito Cruz). there is a small leak (pin hole) near the connection. the grudge
SUGGEST YOU REPLACE IT ASAP. LEAKING POWER STEERING FLUID CAN DAMAGE YOUR RUBBER BUSHINGS, IF NOT YOUR POWER STEERING SYSTEM ITSELF (FOR LACK OF FLUID) MOST POWER STEERING HOSES CAN BE BOUGHT (SET NA COMPLETE WITH ENDS) AT ANY AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLY SHOPS. IF YOU ARE NEAR VITO CRUZ, GO ALONG TAFT AVENUE. BEFORE YOU REACH BUENDIA, MERON NA MGA AUTO SUPPLY STORES DIYAN. JUST BRING THE HOSE OR SPECIFY WHAT CAR AND MODEL YOU WANT. DON'T EVER BUY SURPLUS.
