Yup. Same with fighting games, each game provides a unique experience. The only exceptions are the straight up copycats, but some of them are cool because they're free to play, which creates a unique player-base since some people are free to play only type gamers.

I think Call of Duty has the some of the best campaigns to the point where other games just feel inadequate, but I will say that that Titanfall 2 might be better.

Cyberpunk 2077. varied character progression, plenty of weapons, great mobility beat only by titanfall 2, good on both melee and ranged combat. great story as a bonus.

if cyberpunk doesn't count, then Titanfall 2. Uncontested best pure FPS game. Best mobility in any first person game, high skill ceiling, good progression, and mechs. also has a great campaign.
