Computer Troubleshooting And Repair

Recommended Posts

Hi folks, thank you for your reply, I have a Microsoft Surface, and quite honestly, the Office 365 package or the Office package, even the monthly, is quite expensive (compared to free, hehehe, pirated)...

What should I do? Should I just suck it up and pay up?

Right now I am using Office Libre ( free software,) works great, but not quite like the real thing...

I wanna do some fancy excel dashboards kasi..

Any excel experts out there?

Thanks guys

if you need the fancy stuff and other options, you do not have a choice except to go the commercial route.

Check mo na rin for signs of spillage or corrosion. You can usually find in youtube or google mga teardown instructions.

Under warranty pa sir?

Given na tama yun cloning? TIA

software incompatibilities lalo na sa drivers pero madali lang rektahan yan, download na lang ng latest from the manufacturers website or use the disc that came with the board - provided there is one.

My Desktop CPU(10 year lifespan already with some upgrades in the HDD solely OS of Windows XP service pack 2) has been restarting for quite sometime now and today is actually saying i have a big problem... it wouldn't start the usual way it should be.... file data is unreadable with 5-number in between that tine. I've read in an online post that the HDD is already failing.......

some files are important i think......

Any comments on how to resolve this issue? TIA!

Either you have bad RAM causing data corruption or failing na talaga hard disk mo...

To check the RAM, you can download and burn to a CD/DVD any Ubuntu Live CD distribution, boot the newly-burned CD/DVD, and choose Memory Test. If the test completes without any errors, then HD mo na ang may problem. Back up mo na yung mga files mo. Kung ayaw na mag-boot kahit sa Safe Mode, boot the Ubuntu Live CD to get to you files in the hard disk.

You can download memtest as well to do that
