blu3devil
tanung ku lang mga sir dati ok ung router ko as in nakakapag internet lahat ng mga naka konek sakenbakit pu kaya ngayon di sila maka konek? I'm assuming you have a broadband DSL, can you check if your phone is OK? This could be a problem with the service provider, try to connect your PC straight to your modem (bypassing the router), does it work OK? If yes then it is just a problem with your router possibly misconfiguration or a cable not connected properly, if it also doesnt work then this confirm that there is a problem with your ISP. Call your ISP to check on your internet service. Quote Link to comment

jcsantos
I am trying to make a clean install of win7. I was able to install it thrice (3X) on two three HD's. One I am using in the office and two on my home PC (one is a back-up). Something went haywire with the one at home. Now I can no longer make a clean install using the same DVD. Funny thing is using XP or Vista Installer, works fine but not with the win7 DVD. Tried it also on my PC at work, same thing won't boot from the DVD. Any explanation . . . help PLEASE. baka marumi lagn dvd mo try cleaning it with a clean cloth or tissue paper , you can put a small amount of baby oil ( don't use alcohol ) Quote Link to comment

Arneeious
I noticed that recently that when I turn on my AVR my pc (sometimes) turns on immediately even before I push the power button. Could this be caused by a virus or hardware problem? Also, I noticed a McAfee Security Scan Plus icon on my desktop (and even in the Start/All Programs list). Only my wife and I use the pc and she doesn't remember downloading/installing the program. I'm worried that if this is a virus and I use the typical Uninstall option, it might actually activate the virus. Any ideas on how to safely remove it? Thank you. Quote Link to comment

This is definitely a hardware problem. Either a motherboard or power supply problem or a power button (front i/o panel). Disconnect your avr, reseat the power connectors from the motherboard. plug in the avr then turn it on. Check if your computer still turns on automatically. If it still does the same thing might consider replacing the PSU - check as well the power button or your mobo might be short circuited. Try uninstalling it using REVO uninstaller or Windows Clean UP utility. Try running malwarebytes to check for spyware. Quote Link to comment
