Need help Mtc techs :my nephew is fond of playing Dota in my laptop until recently, super bagal and super lag. Even just surfing sa net napakabagal din and napaka lag. I tried scanning for virus or malware pero so far wala naman nadetect. the fan is working naman. wala din ako makita na recently added program na possible cause ng pagbagal and lag. Need help! specs: dell vostro windows7 500g hd 4 g ram

 

baka madaming background tasks na tumatakbo.

try pressing control-alt-delete once, open start task manager and see if the tasks that are running are related to the running of the windows kernel.

also try to see what start-up programs that you are running....

clean the registry... use ccleaner.

and try to re-scan again in safe mode, if possible, using a different scanner.

Most likely this is a spyware or some sort of activity tracking app that you are not able to detect. I recommend i-reformat mo na lang and then re-install windows.

hindi naman siguro. subukan muna dapat linisin at idefrag ang HD. normal lang naman na bumagal ang computer dahil sa paggamit napupuno kasi ang HD ng fragnented na files. Kailangan din siguro linisan yung cooling system (fan, heatsink, etc.). Nakakabagal din yun kasi mas magaling uminit ang computer pag marumi yun. Pag mainit ang computer mas bumabagal (CPU throttling).

no need to defrag cause windows 7 does that automatically.

check your fan and vents if it is clogged by dust.

is your file access slow or internet browsing?

 

if access to local files is low then you may have an OS issue.

if browsing is slow check your ISP.

 

may be worth running AV scan on your system.

 

 

 

or scan your computing in safe mode.

1. use VPN. if you can't or do not want to pay for VPN services, then VPN Gate is free

2. get/install tor browser (if you do not want to permanently install Onion/Tor in your pc
