I notice that when I open my Yahoo email account, my Firefox browser tab and Yahoo show conflicting counts of unread Inbox messages. My browser's count is always higher by 1. If I have 16 unread messages, my browser shows 17, etc. I made an actual count and confirmed that the browser's count is wrong. Is this a technical problem or could it be a sign of a virus in my pc?

Anybody know's the location of MSI service center, My laptop is overheating... I already tried to clean it but still same problem occur,maybe its time to replace the fan inside .....TIA

Problem solved. I was preparing to capture a screenshot when I noticed that one of the folders I created had 1 unread message. After reading it, the browser and Yahoo count matched. I thought Yahoo only counted unread messages in the Inbox and not the other folders like Spam and user-created folders.

try mo reinstall [if di pa rin makuha, reformat] ang OS mo baka me nainstall ka na maling driver or me pumasok na malware sa OS mo

I need help. My computer monitor has just been showing wavy or scrunched images and now it is just one thin line that I can see. I am not a techie so I don't know what to do. I really need it for my work.

 

to isolate if its your monitor or video card, disconnect your monitor from your computer and do the monitor self test. if you still see those wavy lines, chances are you need to buy a new one.

Hi Samantha. Thanks. I did check it out and found out it was just the monitor that was the issue . To think I made do with it for so long when we have here a better monitor. *face palms*

try mo muna mag F8 during bootup process para makapunta ka sa windows advanced boot options. tapos niyan, try the following:

1. boot to last known good configuration

2. boot to safe mode

 

try mo na din mag initiate ng system restore kung makapasok ka ng safe mode.

 

if all else fails, download ka muna ng diagnostic software na bootable sa disc, tulad ng PC doctor. wala kasing point mag reinstall ng OS kung may problema na sa hardware.

 

pag pumasa sa hardware diagnostic tests, saka ka na mag reinstall ng OS and hope for the best.

I have 4 usb ports, all of them 1.0. Is it possible to replace them with 3.0 ports without having to buy a new motherboard?

Ang hirap pala maghanap ng pci card, ang dami ko pinuntahan na pc stores, wala daw sila nun. Masisira ba ang 3.0 compliant external hd (WD Passport 500gb) kung ikakabit ko sya sa 1.0 usb port?

cdr king meron.di naman, i've tried that before and lahat sila is compatible, ang magiging problema mo lang ata dun is yung speed ng transmission ng data, alam ko pag 1.0 below 1.5mbps samantalang ang 2.0 nasa 10mbps at 5gbps sa 3.0

What a coincidence, nagtanong din ako sa cdr-king kahapon, meron daw sila pero wala cd installer. Download ko na lang daw sa website nila. Nag-iisip pa ako kung bibili ako, ilang beses na kasi ako bumili sa cdr-king (flashdrive, card reader, etc.) tapos ilang weeks lang sira na agad.
