Computer Troubleshooting And Repair

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I have a website let's say www.mysite.com and installed a cms on a folder called CMS.

How do i redirect so that when you type www.mysite.com...it will automatically redirected to www.mysite.com/cms

Salamat po.

Are you using Apache or IIS?

For apache fastest way is to create a index.html in the base folder with a redirect routine.

<html>

<head>

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" Content="3; URL=http://www.mysite.com/CMS/">

</head>

<body>

This page will forward to http://www.mysite.com/CMS/ in three seconds.

<p>

Please update your links.

</body>

</html>

For IIS

uu naman tsaka un hijack this,sdfix and rootalyzer...kaya lang di basta basta pag gamit nun e.meron kasing mga malware na kahit na magreinstall ka ng os andun pa din,dumidikit kasi sa drivers...

:goatee: just a question on this...is it the driver (installer) to which the malware attaches itself to, or the hard drive itself...if its the hard drive, what are the remedies for it...and how could you detect that a pc has already been infected with malware...thanks... :goatee:

Some of the malware created nowadays can even destroy your hard drive, rendering it unusable. Some are memory resident that even if you reinstall windows the moment you get on the internet the malware is still there...there are different approaches in getting in out of the computer and is kinda hard to tell what exactly you should do.

Sure way to know if the system is infected is if you're still getting those nasty pop ups, if the system is still running slow even after doing a hardware test and a reinstallation of windows. Nowadays, getting a black screen can also be caused by a malware infection.

:goatee: is there by any chance the shutting down of my laptop while i am in the middle of using it has something to do with malware...or perhaps while running particular programs or doing something...since it happens a lot and frequent...thanks... :goatee:

let's say naka online ako sa email ko sa gmail and sa FB account ko. it so happened somebody stole my email password and FB password. meaning to say he can access it also.

if he's trying to log in sa email and FB account ko, and i'm online at that time sa email and FB account ko, malalaman ko ba na me nag open ng email and FB account ko at the same time? hope it's clear. thanks for the answer.
