julz2006
Now,ako din penge tulong,,,for some reason,my internet is becoming very slow (i know it's slow coz i can gauge it's "natural" speed, for lack of better terms, considering the specs I have, things I do,programs I got and run, type of Bayantel DSL plan,etc.,etc.),,,initially sobrang lakas nya,mga 700-800kbs s Speedtest. Then after a while,dn ma open gmail, dhil nag time out,MTC taas lng nkikita, tpos takbo lng ng takbo...Tapos Speedtest k uli,,100kps nlng or sometimes 30-60kbps!! Panu ko mkk punta s Pick-Up places???(hehe, kidding),,,anyway, any input guys?Nag system restore n ko for like 3weeks back,la p din,,Tinanggal me n eset kc p expire na,,palit ng AVG,medyo gumanda s umpisa, then un nmn ulit,,,It just went back to the cycle.. Recently,a Bayantel tech found out "sunog" ung RJ45 connector s phone box(?) (ung box connected to another box outside, where the splitter connects to?)..since la daw cla clipper to make that jack, dinerekta nya ung cable from the splitter to that box!Ung Black and Green tiny cables. Is that a bad thing?Could it be it?...It happened nga pla coz la dial tone ung phone (and hence no dsl),and that was a tech for phonelines, not dsl. Any opinions? (cenxa n s haba) Edited July 18, 2009 by julz2006 Quote Link to comment
SamanthaJones
I turned on my pc the other day and it suddenly wouldn't boot up. Until now it won't boot up. It always shows the menu where I can choose among the following: 1. Safe Mode2. Safe Mode with networking3. Safe Mode with Command Prompt. etc. .... I've chosen all the options and I still can't get my pc to work. Is there a way around this problem? A friend recommended I make a boot CD but I don't know how to do that. Thanks!Since its no longer booting up to normal mode or even the safe mode options, definitely the only option left is to reinstall windows. However, you might have a hardware problem that may need to be checked first before doing windows reinstallation. Assuming that you have a spare computer or hard drive you may try swapping the harddrive with that of the other computer to check if it works fine. If you don't have one, then you'll have to proceed to the next step.If you don't back up your files regularly, a Windows Reinstall is really gonna hurt because you will lose all your files and programs you have already installed. There's still another way to get your files though but then its gonna be a long process. You can try doing a PARALLEL INSTALL (DIRTY INSTALL) here's link (screenshot) on how to do it, BTW, this is for XP only>> http://gur.in/xp_parallel.htm When its finish, you'd be able to boot normally and check all your files and back them up but it is still imperative that you do a Clean Installation of Windows XP after this. Hope this helps. Cheers! Edited July 20, 2009 by SamanthaJones Quote Link to comment

Yes that's right reinstalling windows and not reformatting - will not make you loose your files, is also called the Parallel Install - you install another copy of windows on top of your current windows installation - but not recommended. Its better though like what you said if you have a separate partition in the Hard drive for your files, in that way no matter how many times you reinstall windows on C: its gonna be ok. SamanthaJones
pany po b ang teknik ulit para maging genuine ang windows xp?t.i.a there's thick crack you need to download. I believe its called WGA PATCH. or you can try the following...don't know if it works though.. try it at your own risk..Click Start, and then click Run.In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.In the left pane, locate and then click the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEventsIn the right pane, right-click OOBETimer, and then click Modify.Change at least one digit of this value to deactivate Windows.Click Start, and then click Run.In the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK.%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /aClick Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows, and then click Next.Click Change Product key.Type the new product key in the New key boxes, and then click Update. If you are returned to the previous window, click Remind me later, and then restart the computer.Repeat steps 6 to verify that Windows is activated. You receive the following message:Windows is already activated. Click OK to exit. Quote Link to comment

Thanks! ^ there should have been another option that should have said: "last known good configuration" or something like that. try to boot using that option. If you had your "system restore" on prior to the crash then this would have save your last known good configuration. if this doesn't work then try whatever SamanthaJones or countrystyle suggested. hope this helps.
