I agree with you bro.... yung mga franchise at loyal players ng SMB alaga ni Danding yan....

Look at Allan Caidic, Art Dela Cruz, Siot Tanquincen, Samboy, Hector (almost all of them are in the coaching or management staff of Danding's team)...

He knows what GEM is brought about by these players to his business....

they need to revamp the team to have a good chance this coming season... sama na din si siot....

The coach is the leader/brain of the team. No team can perform well or even win titles if the coach is not doing his job. Siot is a good coach but he cannot guide or motivate his superstar team to perform well. Look coach yeng and coach jong done to their team. Even without their top players they can win more games or win titles. So get jaworski and move siot to assistant coach and lets see how the team perform.

no one say he is not good d thing is smb is one of d top teams in d pba w d line up they have... beside d system and chemistry he wants cnt be done in smb team u can see naman sa playoffs nila ah... yung panalo nila noon ang ni load nya puro veteran like dorean pena, danny I and olsen racela.... bt he keeps this guys out of d picture and let some players play d chest. he is been w jung wen he was a smb stuff so he knows around bt he change things around dats y smb falls......

that's why management change coaches to effect changes. if siot will stick to jong's system then the purpose is defeated.

when jong transferred to ginebra, he made a lot of changes. relegated mark caguioa as 6th man, made the team more defense oriented, put a lot of players on the reserve list. sa una di naging effective kaya nga sila nag 0-5 at the start of the conference..maraming lumabas na haters. kesyo palitan na si jong, ibalik si siot..pero nung nag champion ang ginebra asan sila?

on a coaches' point of view, case ng smb, di sila magkakaroon ng chemistry at makakapag adjust ang mga players sa bagong system dahil may mga injury ang superstars nila. pano sila magkakaroon ng chemistry kung di sila nakakapag laro? you need to heal your players first to get results from them.

Try to switch siot to yeng guiao.. Do you think red bull win more games or play in the finals? Siot is a good coach no doubt about it but coaching a superstar team is a big question. 1 year is enough to have a chemistry in your team.

They trade players under coach siot but they fail to make it to the finals. How many years will we wait to make our team champion again.

Siot Tanquincen may not be the best coach in the PBA now but he is a thinking coach. nde man siya naging mahusay na PBA player during his days but still as a coach he has the quality of a good coach. magtitiwala ba naman ang San Miguel Corporation sa kanya kung mahina or in effective siyang mentor. ang pag panalo o pagkatalo nang isang game ay maraming factors pero para sa akin diskarte nang players na yan laolo pat maraming beterano sa SMB or Magnolia Beverage Master. kung talent lang naman punong puno ang team sa lahat nang positions. talaga lang nde consistent ang laro nila. minsan maganda umpisa pero sa finishing stretch na dun sila kinakapos. sayang ang team kung nde nila maaayos ang laro nila.

Siot is a mediocre coach for san miguel. If you have objectively analyzed how he ran his team especially in crucial situations, you would realize that he lets personal emnities cloud his judgment. How many times has he benched Seigle and Racela during the fourth quarter, even when they were healthy? I'll pick racela over cortez any day of the week during crucial situations. Also, if one will be objective about it, it is obvious that Siot doesnt have a system; he pulls out players who are doing well oncourt for the sake of letting the other superstars have equal playing time--which is not a mark of a good coach. Yeng Guiao is successful because he inspires confidence in his players; they know they will get playing time if they do well inside the court. With Siot, it doesnt matter.

The reason Siot was successful with Ginebra was because it only had two, arguably three superstars in Caguioa, Helterbrand, and Menk--so he wasnt pressured by the playing time issue. He can give these guys all the minutes they want and no one in the team will complain.

ngayon ko lang nalaman, the COJUANGCO's are too dumb to notice that they put a mediocre coach to handle their multi million pba team

IMO, siot is a good coach.. problem lang ng naging team ng SMB/MBM is maraming superstars, which i think, hirap syang magbalance ng playing time.. jan magaling c jong, ung humawak ng star-studded line up.. cguro kung ung line up ng SMB/MBM e katulad nung championship run ng BGK nung hawak pa ni siot, malamang umabot sila ng finals or nagchampion pa..

the whole team creates chemistry dudd! that's why they call basketball team sport

but still the coach is the one responsible for jelling his players. You cant just point players and say they have chemistry and they called it team sport because they are composed with 4 or more players not because of chemistry.

we are running circles here..it is true that the coach heads and always takes responsible for the team. but players has the responsibility to respond to their coach as well to achieve chemistry. working hand in hand..as simple as that..team sport has a deeper meaning

jong won championship on his first try with baranggay ginebra during the 2006-07 season, also the last conference of rudy hatfield in the pba. :)

this conference is already his 2nd with bgk.

well time will tell if he can play his dice and cards on dis team.... bt until then d coach has d last laugh nt d players....... its like a teacher and a student. even how good a teacher is. if d students failed in class then d teacher sucks..... let me see how well siot can be....
