that's the hard part... you see coach siot is under pressure to play and utilize all the talents he has

don't you ever wonder why Wesley would be ahead in the rotation than Calaguio?

it's because Arben Santos has been in the sidelines pressuring Coach Siot to play him...

you can hear him rumbling about all sort of stuffs... so once Larry becomes healthy

expect the pressure to play him increase

actually coach siot can opt not to let his decisions be influenced by his rumblings

however this guy really gets to you... especially when you hear all sorts of things he tells other people

I don't know how true but he even tries to convince his players to act what is in the best interest of the group!

talk about team play... what I mean is sometimes players do not perform up to par with their talent

and usually only plays with enough zest if and when they are playing with players they like to play with

hence this sometimes results in either mediocre or spectacular games...

he was perhaps the main reason why RB traded Larry... besides asking for a ton of money

(Yes! Larry is being paid way and above the maximum P500T just to sit on the bench)

he wanted Larry to be the hotshot/superstar of Red Bull

unfortunately/fortunately Coach Yeng didn't heed out his call and luckily for them despite a "weak" line-up they're #2 in the standings

well... I don't mean to spark controversies here but according to most PBA insiders that game was rigged...

PF had to give way to its sister team... for them to be able to catch up in the standings

3rd straight loss, something has to be done to this team, bring back chot reyes maybe. Dorian is back in the line up but seems to still be out of shape. Wilson and Espinas are now reserves? Siot seems to be out of control right now, poor rotation the way i see it.

didn't expect Red Bull to win... by the manage to pull through... miraculously if I may add!

apparently SMC management is desperately considering bringing back coach siot back to BGK

this has a lot to do with arben santos (manager of the blue eagle players) who wants to put an Ateneo alumnus as coach (hmmm... I wonder who? ) mainly because he isn't so thrilled that Larry isn't being given the chance to strut his wares on the hardcourt... once this happens look for the other players to play second fiddle to the Ateneo players...

This is already happening. Imagine, Gabby Espinas, the NCAA Rookie-MVP riding the bench. Other prominent players riding the bench - Calaguio, Tugade, Danny Seigle included. Also, the other SMB top players like Ildefonso, no longer given plays to set them up. There was even an instance when Wesley Gonzales, doing nothing, even bungling free throws, still remain on the court. LA Tenorio, instead of calling up plays, setting up his teammates, the usual point guard duties, now took many shots. He does not have the pass first mentality, typical of a SMB point guard! Before, SMB has the best ball rotation in the PBA, import or no import. SMB is well known for team plays, unselfish basketball.

 

It's a pity. What is now happening for the team I used to cheer for!
