in my case feeling ko i was passed on for an c-level position because of an office relationship gone south.  

anyway, tapos na.  career recovery took long but lesson learned.

What if I chose to chase my biggest crush.
 

before i met my wife, i had a biggest crush, she became my dream girl but at that time she has a bf. Our meet ups were always coincidental since we have a few mutual friends, our eyes would always lock and when the time came when we had a convo, we vibed so hard and definitely had a special connection, but due to personal shenanigans we did not get a chance to continue talking which created maybe around 7 months of gap, which broke me a little, and then i met my gf who is now my wife. 2years happily in a relationship, and no contact with dream girl. we stumble upon other coincidentally again where we had our first connection. She was already single, i was not. We exchanged messages, vibed again like before but for some reason this did not affect my current relationship. I stopped talking to her after realising i am already cheating on my gf which she does not deserve.
 

A month before my wedding, around 6yrs of forgetting about dream girl, she was also invited to a birthday party of our common friend, where we met again. we still vibed but definitely just as friends. Before she left, she talked to me privately, then said “i’ll admit something, gusto ko makinig ka lang, tikom mo lang bibig mo, wag kang judger and don’t look at me…. You deserve to be happy, i was stupid enough to think na i don’t deserve you. In case you didn’t know, i tried to steal you away but i knew you wouldn’t choose me. Kung meron akong regret, that was when i chose to not talk to you when Mat broke up with me while my family was having a crisis. I’m pretty sure you get what i am saying. Di ko to sinasabi para bigyan ka ng doubts, sinasabi ko to para alam mong your girl, soon to be your wife, will make you the happiest.” She turned me to face her, hugged me, kissed me on the lips, then left. 
 

i was so stunned that i was not able to move or even say anything.
