We trade in our time and effort another person's time and effort

Work to live, don't live to work. Unfortunately, everything keeps getting more expensive while salaries stay the same. So we need to work harder, or 2 jobs etc just to keep the same standard of living. Forget about retirement unless you want to live on fish heads and rice. Sad but true unless you can move to one of the western countries and make real salary and/or get a good pension.

Aside from survival, boring naman kse tumambay lang. Also, there's a sense of fulfillment whenever you are able to help and accomplish something.
