yoko yong pataas ng ihi kapag mga mga reunion... all sorts of reunion... family, alumni homecoming maski kung reunion ng kung may patay...

 

bakit pa dapat pagusapan yon, eh.. paki namin kung may bago kang kotse or mataas na ang posisyon mo sa ofice.. ( unless u will share ur eanings with me ..lolz!) reunion nga eh.. kaya usapang kumustahan, reminishing the past events and at the end rekindling friendships...

 

Kung ganoon ang usapan umaalis na lang ako... nasisira lang araw ko... mag- net na lang..hahahaha!

It's Filipino's inability to think of others/society before themselves that irks me.

dami haha... ayaw magpatalo kahit obvious na....always looking for someone else to blame... puro palusot.... pati buhay nya sinisisi sa iba kung bakit mahirap.. etc... super yabang pa... lagi feeling macho.....

walang sense of nationalism.... puro porma lang alam.... chismosa nga...

COLONIZED MENTALITY (that's right, colonized hindi colonial... colonial kasi is western point of view).

 

Ambition ng average Pinoy -- makadikit sa isang Bill Gates. Ambition ng taga-first world country -- talunin sa business si Bill Gates. Therein lies the difference. Kulang tayo sa tiwala sa sarili. Dahil na rin siguro sa over 500 years of colonization... may hangover pa rin tayo. Imbes na we want to strive to be the best, kuntento na tayo to hitch our wagon to someone else's star. DAPAT MAGBAGO TAYO!

wel sa lugar namin sa us wala namang nag drive by shooting. dito sa Pinas  meron din un nga lang kung ang makabangga mo politiko o anak ng sira ulong mayaman na mainit sa baril. e dito nga minsan may binaril dahil lang sa parking space. it happened in loyola memorial in marikina 6 years ago. i have a friend who lives in tondo. minsan nagpaumaga na lang sya sa daan kasi nga pagumuwi sya baka masaksak sya ng mga addict sa lugar nila. in short kahit saan may sira ulo. just my 2 cents.

This is a perfect example of what I am talking about. You hear about someone being killed in Marikina 6 years ago and use this as an example how bad it is Philippines. I also live in metropolitan city in the US, in a city much smaller than Manila in population. On Dec 11, here in the city where I live, a man walked up to car and shot a person dead. Two days later, on Dec 13, a man walks into a house and shots four people. Last year, a girl was abducted from a mall, raped and then killed. By the way, this type of crime happens quite frequently in the US. How often does this happen in the Philippines?

 

So, what does this mean comparatively about crime in the Philippines and the US. Basically nothing. We just mentioned events that happened in the past. If you want to make a valid conclusion on which country is worse in crime, then you should look at scientific studies that have been done on this subject. How much do you wanna bet that if you research crime per capita that the US would come out worse than the Philippines? Maybe you can prove me wrong. I just wish Filipinos would stop bad mouthing their own country.

Colonial Mentality. Its ok to buy imported goods but don't forget our own.
