elbaron1914
i really hate the lack of courtesy of filipino drivers and lack of discipline. there is a joke an american shared to me that filipino drivers are "very courteous", especially those driving motorcycles. why? because motorcycle drivers ignore vehicles when overtaking. worse, they'll be ignored back. willow_boy
Maramdamin masyado na wala na sa lugar madalas. This trait prevents us from having a thorough and learned discussion of issues that need resolution. Our discussions of issues tend to be flat and superficial because the overall concern tends to be "huwag makasakit ng damdamin". Solutions to various issues need to be discussed openly where all options are put on the table for critical examination. The arguments for and against an option can undoubtedly become heated at times pero such arguments and discussions need to be viewed as necessary to arrive at the best possible solution. We do not need to become disagreeable when we disagree. We can simply agree to disagree. Unfortunately, when criticism is levelled on an idea, a lot of us take it as a personal attack. Can we therefore blame our politicians for supposedly lacking the "political will" to do things that really need to be done for the sake of our country? We all share the blame in this.
