Information shared is very helpful and can be true or not. Hence, this must be validated through price and volume. The only question is "do you have the skillsets required to read or basically understand what the price is telling?". If one doesn't know how to interpret it. The undying cycle of confusion, stress, just believing to hear say will never end and etc.

Since most of the markets where weak right now. To brighten up your day, I'll share one stock that I am still holding for my sister's account in PH. I'll be trimming half if it hits 3.27 (auto orders is already set btw).

Bought this stock April 1 eod @ 2.72 and added a few more on the 17th; eod as well @ 2.90; (reason for buying; price action, low risk entry point, liquid, divs play, and RS)

The theme of the market right now is reversals, continuation of moves, and my favorite outliers.

Top idea for reversal in my view is no other than $chp, were in it bounce from a support level 1.20-1.22 confluence with its 200MA support.

Market is pricing in rumors re: if $dmc will really gonna be buying $chp and adding it to their arm of business. This is the same catalyst why it went up in the 1st place. (just in case your not aware).

Here's that evidence in terms of price; I didn't bought it. Since it wasn't my cup of tea. (So, i'm just watching it). In time, you would understand that not all moves are meant to be bought. Most especially if your results is, poor in that type of strategy.

For those that have caught it and made money on it (realized gains/already sold their shares). Congratulations!

The worst case scenario at this point should be a fair trade. Yung wins turns into a loss. Tawag dun engot! :D

addendum:

as you can see, move or price move comes first way ahead before the news.

Then what happens after news came out; gap down. Perfect buy the rumor, sell the news example right.

Todays chp chart. gap down open

Got lots of time to burn, so I'll share some info re: your URC: (just for clarity)

Still bummed about my URC hitting pandemic level prices.

Btw, I treat your statement "URC  hitting pandemic level prices" as prices hit 82php again. This is what happened; it bottomed out at 82php (March 16,2020) recovered; after that it plummet again up to 93.25 (june 13, 2022) recovered once again and plummeted once again. Bottomed out recently at 89.10 php. This was a normal price action on trading or investing in a stock that is under a downtrend fashion (Lower high, lower low). As you can see. I've marked all the points i have said in the screen print for your reference.

Now, let's deal with the feeling "bummed about URC". It only means, you were holding it for a while now and you may have ridden it during the roundtrips that took place. Di mo naman siguro mararamdaman yung disappointments along the way if let's say nakabili ka for example nung pandemic at 82php then you have sold it at around 140php right? Kasi technically, kumita ka nun in less period of time.

Now let's move on with your second statement:

Kung kelan nagdadalawang isip ako magdagdag eh. 16% gain na sana in a matter of two weeks. Sayang din. Haha

In short, hindsight na. In which on investing or trading the stock market, real time ito.

Let's change the scenario. Chineck mo price ng $urc over the net at nakita mo down ng 16% from your bought price. Nanghinayang ka ba magdagdag paren at that situation? Or nag-isip ka ba na teka baka bumaba pa ito? or  Nag-isip ka ba na benta ko na kaya hanggat may natitira pang value sa pera ko? or lastly pwede ring yung ginagawa ng karamihan, na close port, then mag-isip na magandang company to babawi to overtime?

Now i have a solution for you to end this "panghihinayang" factor. Let's say, you are trading the recovery of $urc coming from 89php  nag 95 (so recovering right, kasi umaangat e). Ang gagawin mo lang, planuhin mo. Simple planning example, pag nag 98 or let's say 100 si $urc, bili ako ng x amount shares. In that way, if it hits 98 or 100 makakabili ka. If hindi naman nag 98 or 100.

Honestly speaking, for me.

Since ang title neto "Hinayang". Sasabihin ko na yung top reversal trade for my eyes. $ACEN recovered almost 30% in 2 weeks and few days time.

Did anyone try the stocks platform in gcash?

Iba paren yung legit broker for me.

Pag nilatag kasi ganto lang para saken.

- Normally, nag open lang naman ng gantong types of account for small amount of investment, ease of picks (since feeder fund yung listed or ETF),  and easy access (Just like what is advertised). But yung hindi nakikita ng iba is yung ibang factors like accessibility (down ng app), transaction fees (fees na sa managing fund added pa sa gcash fees), market knowledge (right time to invest), future proofing (like if magventure ka on trading, managing a significant amount) and etc.

So, kung oks lang sayo yung limitations and yung existing features. I think go for it. If not, just open an account to a legit broker.
