jjiraiya
Nickel supplies poised to go into deficit by mid-2015, local nickel miners should profit greatly-- NIKL, CMT, MARC The primary effect is that oil companies will have lower margins. This is felt by Petron since early 2014 pa as the lower crude oil prices means they sell their products on a lower margin. For now, Petron is offsetting these by international expansions in Malaysia yun kinain nila local unit ni ExxonMobil there and renaming it to Petron. The big gains here is primarily the airline companies such as PAL and Cebu Pacific. In the case of Cebu Pacific, naka-factor na yun "oil drop" sa price nila as their shares have been soaring lately. The reason for this is that jet fuel is their second largest expense behind their manpower costs. Inverse relation yan, the bigger the drop in crude oil, the bigger the airline's margins will be. While this might not be immediately reflected sa quarterly results nila, they'll eventually come. The reason why the change is not immediate is because most airlines have "contracts" that fix their oil pricing for a certain specific of time (proper term is "hedging").thanks for the info! I'm a newbie kasi when it comes to this.... dun lang ako sa "safe" stocks and i have been wondering kung ano effect nito Quote Link to comment

Is AmiBroker really that good?thanks!Don't get me wrong, I buy penny stocks - but that previous statement "always get penny stocks..." should be qualified. Amibroker as a data processor is very nice - filters, indicators, etc. But it's up to us on how we'd interpret those data. I'm still learning the market, with the help of this Amibroker software Quote Link to comment

Thanks!Mutual Funds is a collection of stocks chosen by a manager. If you have the time and patience to study, why not choose the stocks that could be the most profitable? Quote Link to comment
