Waiting for Maynilad/Manila Water I think TEL, GLO, and CNVRG was affected by the Konektadong Pinoy Bill. If new players enter the market, that could also put pressure on their revenues. For GLO, the big catalyst would be if the GCash IPO actually pushes through. Quote Link to comment
tombone
Having cash in stock market is a good position, don't force trade . Trade only with a plan and an upward trend or bull signal. Quote Link to comment

The Specialist
In a selective market like the PSE for example. I would have to say, if you really don't know what your doing. It is more better to be in cash, than to be invested. Now, for those who knows what they are doing, I would say: For new entries (keep size, small), until this works for you. Cut it, if it hits your stop. For position that is working (you can sell on strength, hold until the trend bends, and keep your discipline to follow your stops). Selective market: Means, overall market is currently destroyed or being sold off. But there are some that is rising. The only question is, have you seen it or are you riding the correct stock? - It is obvious enough, and you can verify it on the chart as well. That the one in favor right now, is the mining sector or anything that is related to Gold. Heard about GOLD in 4k? Why? safe-heaven! sample of stock names? If you catch it, good for you. If not be patient, study the big winners of the past and prepare for the christmas rally. For sure, that's another big opportunity! Then again, the only question is? Do you have enough chips, when the sell-off is over and it is now time to buy! Quote Link to comment
