that was inspiring bro! i am averaging 150/90 and im on the mid 20s so medyo kinakabahan na ako. i dont take any medications, no exercise, laging puyat, 3hrs  sleep, and buti naman buhay pa ko ngayon. maybe drinking a lot of water helps? im undergoing water theraphy and so far medyo nawawala na yung sakit ng batok ko. pero dont take my word for it. it may or may not work for you.

Preng Boredrat,

Pati ako kakabahan dyan sa 150/90 mo. Try some exercise and some diet control. Generic na payo yan ng mga doctor, pero di lahat nakaka-sunod. Since you are still in your mid-20's, time is on your side, but you may have to start soon. Problems (due to high BP) come out later in life. It's the vital organs that get affected later, heart... kidneys, etc.

nkakatakot talaga...

my dad has MI and sometimes ramdam ko ang sakit sa batok ko.. since then i tried to regulate and watch over my diet... i think i already have a lot of those bad cholesterol in me... its bout time to brush them off... its hard especially if your used to eating anything at anytime of the day... but its a lil sacrifice compared to spending days/weeks at the hospital in the end.... not to mention expensive maintenance meds needed to normalize your BP.

tama ka imijin. and to all the other members reading this, would like to give you a first hand experience.

Right after my discharge from the hospital due to my minor heart attack, I was required to take 5 different tablets daily. It costs me 6K a month. Grabe. Kada sweldo, I have to budget 3K just for my meds alone. Presently, nabawasan na ng Isang tablet (forgot the name, but the cost was Php 360/tablet). kaya ngayon, budget ko is 1.1K / sweldo just for maintenance meds lang.

Kaya mga kaibigan, PLEASE, PLEASE take care of your health. Hindi biro ang magkasakit. It will have an impact in your life (financially, physically, emotionally and psychologically).

i just lost round 5 pounds...i started taking the pinepple juice therapy less than a month..before, i drink a lot of softdrinks so i look bloated...so i stopped it and took pineapple juice instead..sometimes its a case-to-case basis...some people like me react favorably with pineapple juice..some people like u dont..there are still a lot of fruits out there..variety counts...in ur case, just take a lot of/different fruits and veggies.....and of course avoid fatty foods, smoking, stress, sedentary lifestyle....moderate drinking also counts like a little red wine..and of course getting at least 6-8 hrs of sleep a day... :)

Just a slight correction. Pineapple IS fiber and fiber makes you go "number 2" easier ....

Actually people call pineapple (fruit and juice) the "walis" of our tummy because it really helps you flush out everything....

But youre right its a good diet food and will help lower your bp and your weight.

yes pineapple is fiber but if u dont take enough water intake, u will tend to constipate because fiber is bulk-forming (hardens our stools)...so in order to utilize the benefits of fiber, u should take in lots of water at least 8 glasses everyday so as not to suffer the consequences of constipation.
