dumae
ok ba sa PCExpress alabang or is it better to go to gilmore?PC Express is a nationwide computer chain and their prices are the same as other PCX branches around the Metro. In terms of pricing, they're more expensive than the ones in Gilmore.. however, pagisipan mo muna whether the price difference is worth it. You can download PCX's SRP price listing sa website nila which makes it a great way in price checking. Afterwards, you cross-check them with TipidPC's listings. A lot of Gilmore shops post in TPC kasi. Hope that helps newbies. Quote Link to comment
paolo10
Pc options na so far ang alam kong mas mura. Generally mas mura sila sa competition sa gilmore. Pc hub ok din, pwede mo check prices nila sa tpc. Quote Link to comment

glut_func
For sure, undisputed yung mga suggestion na makukuha mo dito na referral sa gilmore ka tumingin pero yung store will really depend on the specific part na bibilhin mo. Kung mga plug&play items or individual parts lang, pwede na dyan sa mga computer store na malapit sa inyo, for sure meron naman sila store warranty for the product and kung magka-defect man yung item pagdating nyo sa bahay, madali tumakbo pabalik dun sa store na pinagbilhan nyo hindi yung dadayo ka pa ng pagkalayo-layo. Pero kung more than one computer parts bibilhin mo or bubuo ka ng rig talaga dun ka na sa gilmore para sure.  One more thing, before buying mag check muna online (if you have internet access sa ibang pc or on your phone) for the contact of the shop na balak mo puntahan to canvass stock availability and prices para di masayang pamasahe nyo. glut_func
gilmore pa rin...annoying lang talaga yung mga barker ng ibang shops pero for the price, worth it dayuhin yung lugar. Quote Link to comment
ytrewqwerty
Okay, I've been buying PC parts for quite some time now. I've been assembling (and disassembling) PCs since the early 2000s. Gilmore is a good place, but not all shops are good. You can go with big brand names like PCX there. If its hard to go to gilmore (parking is a bitch there - you can park at Robinsons Magnolia then walk), you can go to other PCX branches in other locations. They have uniform prices anyway. Another good shop IMHO is PC Options. They have a gilmore branch and a shaw boulevard branch. They are generally lower in price than PCX, but have fewer locations.  Villman and Octagon is okay for ready-built desktops and peripherals. They also have a lot of branches.  If you are just going to save P200-P500 pesos by going to Gilmore, might as well buy in a shop that's near you. In that way, its easier to claim warranties if needed. Hope my opinion helps. 1 Quote Link to comment
