sandy51 Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 Sabi sa manual nang mga cars dito, 93 octane or less ang gamitin but a lot use a higher octane kasi it improves performance daw. According to what I've read naman, this is not so and it is only a waste of money to use a higher octane than required. Of course, using a lower octane will cause engine knock. Question is, tama ba ang registered octane rating sa gas pump? Who is in charge of monitoring the correctness?
