If you are going to take vitamin E take the natural one, d-alpha tocopherol not the ones derived from petroleum synthetic dl-alpha tocopherol. Natural multi tocopherols are an even better option. Careful about the disinformation of Big Pharma saying that vitamin E is harmful, they're in the business of selling high profit margin patented products to you when you are sick, so they will slyly plant seeds in media to make you do things that prevent you from maintaining health, hence the smear jobs on highly beneficial nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc.
