Tzi
4 a good, simple love story: Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, by Dai Sijie. It's simple but beautifully written. I prefer Chinese novels in general, they have this easy-to-read but immersing style. Like listening to a skilled storyteller. Quote Link to comment

cocoy0
Yung book ni Robert Fulghum madalas icompare sa ABNKKBSNPLAko... Maganda ito. Other books I am proud to have read are: The Hell encyclopedia (I forgot the editor or even the publishing house but I read it at UE Recto reference library). It even had a foreword by Clive Barker. Up the Down Staircase by Bel Kaufman All is Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque - nice war novel. Definitely anti-war. Conan series. Mindless action, pero ambangis! Anime will have a hard time topping this. Spellsinger series by Alan Dean Foster. Software by Richard Rucker. a cyberpunk classic. What if the mind is only a software? The Da Vinci Code. It is superior to Angels and Demons... How to Live with a Neurotic Dog. by Mr. Baker... nakalimutan ko author. The Little World of Don Camillo. the Italian village priest versus the Communist mayor. Candide by Voltaire. masterful satire. Quote Link to comment
