if you don't feel comfortable wearing dentures to replace your missing molars , its always best to consider having implants placed on those particular areas. You just have to make sure of several things, first of which is the availability of bone remaining , meaning is there enough bone height, bone width and bone density. You also have to ask the dentist what system he will be using , there are numerous systems in the market today , each has thier own high points and weakness, it would be in your best interest to do some independent research, you might want to ask what type of restorations he will use ;again there are numerous choices, from regular porcelain cemented crowns to the more recently developed Zirconium-Yttrium based restorations. take tour pick. Also consider the dentist experience of the dentist . I know it sounds trivial but i think a well trained dentist with enough experience should perform the surgery .

Greetings Esteemed Docs!

 

I'm searching for a dentist to help out a charity case of mine, she is not of great means, (daughter of my staff), she needs an impression made upper anterior 4 units (plus opposing for articulation) to make a 4 unit fixed bridge (which I will provide from a lab i am attached to).

 

can you recommend please? preferably near fairview area, but anywhere is fine.

 

your advise is greatly appreciated. again, she is of very modest means so hopefully budget friendly, total impression and fitting nalang..

I have a problem abt my gums..numininipis or parang decaying na yung gums ko especially in front teeth? Halos makita na yung buong ngipin ko..what i mean is kita na buong bahagi ng ngipin kow..konti nlang kita na yung pinagkakapitan niya..wla naman me maramdaman ,steady parin yung ngipin but it really worries me..also pwede ba magpaimplant ng tooth only...kung baga kung may bungi ka eh pwede bang palagyan ng tooth iyon parang sa sa pustiso pero pang isang nigipin lang and how much will it cost..any suggestion abt this...any dental advice?thanks in adv:)

kung sa tingin mo ay buong ngipin mo ang nakikita at kaunti nalang ang pinagkakapitan, malang na nauubusan ka na ng buto, malaking problema ito, kung ang binabalak mong ipalagay ay implant , kung bumaba ng husto ang buto, malamang na kailangang magdagdag pa ng buto bago pa ilagay ang implant ang tawag dito ay "bone grafting" or guided bone regeneration, mahal at may katagalan ang proseso, ang dahilan ng hindi mo pagkakaramdam ng sakit ay dahil sa tinatawag na "chronic" condition, sa madaling salita matagal ng nilalabanan ng katawan mo ang infection, malamang na sumakit na iyan ng ilang beses at hindi mo lang ininda, pero dahil sa pagbaba ng buto, mo lang napapansin, mahal ang implant, ewan ko lang

kung magkano ang singil dyan sa manila, dito sa states ay naguumpisa sa $1,800- 2,000. /implant at about $2,000.00/bone grafting. hindi pa kasama dito and ngipin on top of it .

i need to get a wisdom tooth removed. its "impacted", is that bad?

whenever the dentists say that its always accompanied by a "tsk, tsk" sound

do i need a dental surgeon? any recommendations? its buried in the gumline, the only thing showing is the crown.

i have 4 of my wisdom tooth impacted, i consulted a dentist sa borough and sabi nya sakin each tooth would cost mga 5-6K daw depende sa tubo.

 

sabi din nya usually sabay sabay na tinatanggal to para minsanan nlng kaso mahal. <_<

try using soft toothbrush chaka use gargle.

oic..thanks for the info..but sir how about my gums..diba ang gums to cover our teeth's root...ung ibang part/area ng teeth kow eh ok naman ang gums pero yung frontal gumz kow kung maoobserbahan eh parang numinipis na to the point na kita ko na yung isang buong ngipin..yung bang parang kandila na nuubos? so like to know kung nareremedyohan ba yung sa gums para bumalik sa normal? again thanks sa info b4..

it seems to me that you might want to have your bite or in dental term "occlusion" checked , are you missing some tooth in the back , i mean your molars , if you are that means you are just puting alot of force on your front tooth and causing the gums and bone to go down. occlusion/bite is important, if there is no stable bite, its like a house that doesn't have a solid foundation ,i highly suggest that you see a periodontist or a gum specialist, i know a couple who are trained in the states and do practice there in manila, very capable. a bit pricey but i think its worth it especially if it is your front tooth, gums and bones don't grow back by itself without proper intervention, Guided bone/tissue regeneration is the procedure that needs to be done, together with a properly done root planning and scalling if not
