basil-m
hello there, if you don't feel comfortable wearing dentures to replace your missing molars , its always best to consider having implants placed on those particular areas. You just have to make sure of several things, first of which is the availability of bone remaining , meaning is there enough bone height, bone width and bone density. You also have to ask the dentist what system he will be using , there are numerous systems in the market today , each has thier own high points and weakness, it would be in your best interest to do some independent research, you might want to ask what type of restorations he will use ;again there are numerous choices, from regular porcelain cemented crowns to the more recently developed Zirconium-Yttrium based restorations. take tour pick. Also consider the dentist experience of the dentist . I know it sounds trivial but i think a well trained dentist with enough experience should perform the surgery . hope this helps www.olivadds.comnyc Quote Link to comment
