Guys, I would like to have some braces is PGH the only cheapest hospital to have it done there? Or do you have other recommendations?

Question lang po..I had a pure porcelain dental crowns on my 3 front teeth, ung pangatlo hindi ko ni pina root canal, and parang may pagkasira na yung tooth na yun, ngayun although it looks good from the outside, If i press my finger over between the gum and that porcelein crown (yung hindi na root canal) there's a foul smell..I was wondering if root canal will take of that smell?..is there a risk of breaking the pure porcelain crown?..help naman po

Chances are nagkadecay na ung pinagkakapitan ng porcelain crown mo and pag ka ni root canal un ay tatangalin din ung crown para maperform ng maayos ung procedure and eventually papaitan mo na din ung crown na un. have it checked by your dentist para ma evaluate din nya ng maayos yung case mo.

ngayon ko lang pinansin yung baba ng tongue ko and parang may nakita akong bump na naka labas sa gilid ng labasan ng laway? normal ba yun? madalas kasi akong mapaso sa kinakain ko.

Sabi ng dentista ko mapaparoot canal na daw ako. For now may temporary pasta ako sa ngipin na ipaparoot canal pero masakit daw yun... general anesthesia???

hindi masakit ang root canal masmasakit pa yung pagextract ng wisdom tooth

bubutasan lang ang ngipin hanggang maexpose ang nerve then sprayan ng anesthesia then ireremove ang mga nerve gamit ang isang needle.

My son is 8 1/2 yr old...... ok na yun permanent 4 Lower front teeth nya., then yun 3 UPPER front teeth lumabas na den (3-1- 4)..... the prob is.. its been 2 yrs pero yun #2 permanent UPPER front teeth nya (yun isa sa rabbit tooth).. seems ayaw lumabas sa gums, i can see na meron na tooth sa loob ng gum pero nag stuck na ata at di na lumabas...... normal lng ba ito? need lng ba mag intay ... what needs to be done here? need ba mag ka roon ng incision sa gum nya to help it out?

I know pede ito pa tooth extray ..... pero normal lng ba na delayed yun pag labas ng tooth. (2nd upper permanent tooth)

Hi,

 

Don't worry about getting a rtc kasi dumaan na ako sa same process. Hindi naman siya ganun kasakit and i think local aneasthesia lang ang binigay sa akin. Mas masakit pa nga yung tanggalann ng impacted tooth. lol

well it depends kung saan naka locate ung clinic ng dentist mo and his/her reputation as an orthodontist. well prices range from 10k per arch, so thats 20k upper and lower. pero i know some coleagues who charges up to 150k.. well prices are not supposed to be discussed. pero you can always ask your dentist.

well sometimes delayed talaga, there are cases na ganyan with kids. well if you are really worried, you can ask you dentist/oral surgeon to incise the gingiva covering the tooth. :thumbsupsmiley:

CHANCES ARE MAAGA NALOST YUNG MGA MILK TEETH NG ANAK MO KAYA NAGING DELAYED ERUPTION NG NGIPIN. SUPPOSED TO BE YUNG 4 FRONT TEETH NYA AY LUMABAS NA BY THIS TIME. THE DELAY CAN BE ALSO CAUSED OF THAT IS YUNG OVERLYING GUM PART ANG PUMIPIGIL SA PAGLABAS NG NGIPIN. THE DENTIST CAN HELP BY MAKING CUT ON THE SOFT TISSUE NA NAKAHARANG.

Good day Docs! I have been operated for AP COendectomy(that's what i remember) because i have this hole on my upper jaw where some of the pus has been deposited. I was on Anesthesia and was awake all thorughout the operation. I asked my dentist to lend me a mirror so that i can see the process. Wow,it was hella BLOODY! I wasn't having a hard time while he is scraping my bones(i think) on the upper jaw. The Anesthesia injection hurts though. They drained all the pus and cleaned the hole with a betadine and then they closed the wound. After 2 months of operation i still notice that there is still this pus going out of my gums when i push my finger to the hole. My question is "WHAT CAUSED THIS?" and "CAN I GO BACK TO MY DENTIST FOR A BACKJOB WITHOUT PAYING ANYTHING?"
