If a pedestrian is hit by any vehicle while crossing the street outside the designated pedestrian lane or crossing, the motorist has no obligation to pay for hospitalization and/or funeral of the jaywalker. If there is damage to the car as a result of hitting the jaywalker, the jaywalker is liable to pay for damage of the vehicle, without prejudice of filing a criminal case of reckless imprudence resulting to damage to property.

They should require the people living in the provinces some kind of a permit to enter Metro Manila.

Metro Manila has become congested and crowded because of people going to Manila to look for a job, even without a place to stay.

There should be stricter laws against political dynasties

this may not make sense to some of us, but there should really be such a law like this:

 

there should be a law that allows for unrestricted, unlimited and unencumbered use of cryptography and steganography for noncommercial or personal reasons. same with the importation/export of cryptography.

The rental law is so one-sided. There should a law that is fair for everyone esp for the landlord.

 

The law favors those people in debt. There should be a stricter law if those people with debts cannot pay. It's unfair to landlords, lessors and even lenders.

1.) Remove Pork Barrel

2.) Remove eVAT on basic commmodities

3.) Remove eVAT on fuel and electricity

4.) Implement an anti-trust law on businesses

5.) Implement the guidelines on the anti-dynasty law

6.) Make the presidential term 4 years with maximum term limit of two.

7.) Strengthen the party-list law, no more millionaires representing the marginalized sectors of the society.

8.) Make graft and corruption and plunder punishable by death.

On party lists, before they are accredited by the COMELEC, they must first establish that they are indeed an ORGANIZATION representing the marginalized sector they are supposed to be representing. Kung merong competing organization, dapat mag-merge muna sila. Only one organization per sector. Hindi pwedeng more than 1 organization mag-re-represent ng mga BADING for example. Hindi dapat automatic ang NOMINEE. Dapat meron INTERNAL ELECTION to be supervised by the COMELEC within that organization on who shall be their nominee. Funding for this activity should be supplied by the applicant organization.

 

Hopefully, tightening the standards for the party list system will prevent the Mikey Arroyos from abusing the system. Bonafide SECURITY GUARD BA YANG HINAYUPAK NA YAN?! I-no-nominate ba yan ng mga security guards?

^^not that im a gay-basher, but generally gays are not a marginalized sector. the law looks only at sex but not gender. laws on women apply also to female gays. gay men are still considered men being part of our patriarchal society. i dont see any reason why they should be categorized as a sector. ubi lex distinguit noc nos distnguire debemos.
