Chito
Nice thread lovelybabe! Bukuhan na kung bukuhan Mia - You are not pretty, not sexy, and not really highly sociable - but you had class, and I spent almost two years just imagining that you were beside me at every moment. congratulations for passing the med boards totoo bang top 5 ka? Joanne - I was told that it's the "Puiline syndrome". Anyway, congratulations on your engagement I had fond memories being your friend. Sheryl - Your boyfriend of ten years is one of the luckiest guys I know Lissa - Circumstances never were kind to us. We never found ourselves both unattached at the same time. In the long time we spent away from each other, we have grown to be persons different from who we once were. I hope you would find someone who would endure your temperament and petty idiosyncracies. You really are a nice person. Quote Link to comment

missmanners
OMG. where do i begin? it seems i had a crush on the whole world. fresh from an all-girls school and thrust suddenly into a co-educational system, i was overwhelmed with the presence of guys... and a lot of them were really attractive to me at that time (on hindsight, i attribute all these "mistakes" to naivete). i remember a guy i codenamed "tree trunk".. he was funny and had a great personality. except that he was really tall and was quite dark... he was fond of wearing green shirts to boot. and then there was that one time i did like a guy younger than me.. i did all of his homework, even did a whole bookreport for him. obviously he saw me as a mother more than a girlfriend. and i snapped out of that pretty quickly. i fancied one particular teacher. he was there for only a semester and taught a class i had to attend. nothing happened but i do remember we ended up, through a series of unfortunate events, having dinner once. this resulted in some confusion.. and finally spiralled out of control. i think his decision to leave school after that was largely due to what happened... or didn't. siiiigh... and then there was THAT GUY. you know him... the kind that's popular, smart, a jock, crush ng bayan, total package, yadda yadda. we had common friends and ended up hanging out a lot. but after getting to know him, i realized that he had no personality. he was awfully nice eye candy... but we never had a conversation that was even remotely interesting. i think my interactions with guys in school had a lot to do with the kinds of guys i'm attracted to now. suffice it to say that none of my ex-crushes are attractive to me anymore. Chito
siiiigh... and then there was THAT GUY. you know him... the kind that's popular, smart, a jock, crush ng bayan, total package, yadda yadda. we had common friends and ended up hanging out a lot. but after getting to know him, i realized that he had no personality. he was awfully nice eye candy... but we never had a conversation that was even remotely interesting.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a female equivalent for the "total package" type. However, the total packages i encountered were much worse. They have nice personalities, desirable even. Every conversation with them seem to be the most interesting thing in the world, even if the topic is rather mundane. These are the girls who treat you very warmly. They take time to give you extra attention, and they make you feel valued and important. At some point you fall in love with them, and you thank God for bringing them in your life. After that, you get crushed when you realize that she just wants to be friends with you. Quote Link to comment
Fahfrd
Ellen - The prettiest, most unassuming, most totally unaware of how pretty she is, girl I have ever met. Knew her in HS, but I always kinda thought that she was one of those goddesses who was unapproachable. But in college, she was just so friendly and so cute and so sweet and so kind and so solicituous and she was also super smart. She knew me during the worse of my loser days in UP, un-shaved, totally disgusting, never do well, unattractive and no-confidence specimen of a guy. When I was struggling both to just graduate and to work to pay the bills. But she was still so nice to me whenever we met. Taking time to talk and chat and share jokes. She made me feel like I was someone, that I existed and was someone worth talking to. I never ever had the guts to court her. She was so beautiful and so smart (she was Magna Cum Laude in her undergrad pre-med in UP Diliman, and her med proper she took at UP PGH) and just so perfect. Of course, it didn't help that she was also super rich. But she was never snobbish or acted affected in any way. She was just so down to earth and so nice. This girl is the ONLY one of ALL the girls I have ever met in school, who is still THE ONE for me. She is and will forever be, the IT GIRL in my book. Last I heard, she became a very successful doctor and was engaged to a good looking guy. If I could do it all again, I'd try my luck with her starting in High School. What the heck, right? Take a chance. She is worth it. Just the possibility of being with her and being her guy outweighs any potential embarrasment you may suffer. Quote Link to comment
TheGeneral
i am a full-blooded bedan, from prep to college... never had any female classmate... pathetic, huh! i had a very pretty class adviser in my 1st year in high school... i was a favorite though, 'coz i'm smart and i was the only one who got a personal letter from her during our retreat. too bad i wasn't really into it at that time... i could've had something... s3cr3tiv3
Sure, I had a lot of crushes in college. But there was only one girl whom I really fell for... Too bad her family moved to Glendale after our second year in college. Quote Link to comment
