wynd247
Was using globe 2 years ago and the service is terrible! Long down-times, and they are using double Nat-ting.Not to mention their after sales customer service. Switched to PLDT, and never had a problem with the connection. Quote Link to comment

Depende yata sa location kung mabilis ang PLDT. What's your location? Quote Link to comment

Xrated
Wired pa rin is the best in terms of stable connection. For me PLDT is ok. Quote Link to comment

iamnoangel
One good analogy to help you decide which provider to avail. Isipin nyo ung DSL (Direct Service Line) ay Cable for TV. then ung broadband naman, (Globe, Smart, Sun, Wi-Tribe) ay Antenna. With a cable, Gagana o hindi. walang (pwede na o medyo). Sa antenna naman. Depede sa location, ung iba kahit naka antenna lng ganda ng reception parang naka cable, ung iba naman pinapalo palo pa ung tv or inikot ikot ung antenna pero malabo parin. Ung iba naman "viewable" ang palabas but not a "greate viewing experience". Syempre sa DSL hindi naman totoo ung 1mbps na connection, ung lng ung bandwith na alloted sa port mo. Pero hindi un ang lagi mong makukuha. a 700kbps for a 1mbps connection is still understandable for me. any lower then they need to fix my connection. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
khantan
Wi-tribe is good, as long as you are less than 400 meters away from their antenna, and your modem is located in the 'line of sight' of their antenna. Edited January 21, 2012 by khantan Quote Link to comment
rubic_of_ahriman
Sun Cellular 3G Internet is pretty bad in places like Ortigas, Makati and Cubao. This may be due to the congestion. Globe 3G doesn't seem to have this limitation. Smart 3G is pretty far reaching as I have tried it in a house in Antipolo but becomes intermittent on certain hours. Quote Link to comment
stakadooomboy
I have tried only 2 ISPS in the past 5 years, nagsimula sa SmartBro.. walang problema naman 1mbps.. mabilis ang youtube at typical browsing. sumunod sa skybroadband.. wag niyo na itry itong ISP na ito.. for the first few months mabilis siya then sunod-sunod na ang problema.. di makaaccess ng mga websites at sobrang bagal! 2mbps pa naman ang plan ko sa kanila. Will try PLDT next Quote Link to comment
