hsdpa of globe is ok in areas where the bandwidth is not congested. QC is a bit ok for visibility. makati is real bad with visibility where badwidth is hogged by voice. hsdpa almost does not work. darn. :goatee:

i hang out in the san juan/mandaluyong area and my globe 3g hsdpa is super slow. it is the worse service i have every encountered and u are locked in for PhP2000 per month until your contract is over. DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE AS U ARE JUST THROWING AWAY YOUR MONEY.

very good performance. i get speeds faster than my dsl connection at home. relies on a globe signal, though. so, coverage depends on globe's coverage.

 

overall, im ok with this.

you can use vpn access. just download the correct vpn client.

Got Mine nung January 2007 pa. At First It was very slow and unreliable. But Now I am loving it kasi I can surf and access the net anywhre that has globe signal. Swerte lang siguro ko kasi everywhere I go may 3g signal. Average Speed ko siguro is around 700. Fastest I got was 1.2 Mbps.
