cheap booze, good food, excellent service, good music...

- san miguel beer, any variant

- good music that's not loud so my companions and i can talk w/o shouting

- sexy waitresses with belly buttons showing

- decent pulutan. don't need gourmet food when i drink

Comfortable seats; elbow room; merong wine para sa friend ko na walang iniinom kungdi wine; music not so loud as to allow decent conversation; affordable pulutan.

Cheap booze, good lighting, music's not too loud, quick and efficient service.

 

Nothing beats that combination.

we used to hang out in this bar in ortigas. the waiters were very friendly and accomodating... di nakakalimot sa mga regulars, they make sure that you get everything you need, they befriend the customers. of course, they're just doing what they're supposed to do, but very few bars/restaurants have that kind of hospitality.

but it would have been better if there were pretty waitresses... hehe... puro barako e.

I agree with most of whats been posted, but I want to add one thing:

Chairs!

 

Sometimes the chairs in bars are really uncomfortable- so uncomfy you'd rather stand.

It could be too low, or there wouldn't be enough space between the seat and the table that you'd have to move away from the table. Sometimes the back support is way too straight - if not too reclined.

idagdag pa natin yun waiters, dapat marami...kasi minsan gusto mo pa umorder kaso wala ka matawag dahil konti lang sila at busy pa sa ibang mesa!

For me Service is the first thing that I look for in a Bar

 

Next is the Variety of the Available food for Pulutan and Lamon

 

Last na lang ang drinks kasi for sure me beer naman sila na pwedeng pag tyagaan

primary consideration sa akin is yung crowd. dapat walang hip-hop. hehehehehe.
