^ unlikely kahit na may regurgitation if may numbness typically ang cause is some adverse reaction sa mga gamot also nasuri na ka ng cardio mo if may problem dun malamang nakuha na. Yes better see your neuro but if I may mas mabuti kung internal medicine ka muna before going to neuro para masuri rin endocrine mo then go from there. Kasi kung statin lang talaga though may reports pero according sa journals very rare ang neuropathy as adverse reaction... baka may underlying undiagnosed condition ka na nagcacause ng neuropathy pero naaamplify lang ang effect dahil sa statin.

Hi. Anatomically speaking, gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) or acid reflux is caused by defect in the sphincters which are in between your esophagus and the stomach. They are supposed to be gatekeepers so acid won’t go up. But this has to be confirmed by endoscopy and motility studies, done by a gastroenterologist

 

Improper diet and obesity can worsen, yes. Avoid lying down immediately after a heavy meal, avoid too much oily / fatty / spicy food, caffeinated drinks and smoking among others.

Medyo tricky ang test for syphilis, it must be within the window period which is 3months from contact although may iba na gumagamit pa rin sa 6months as the window period. If you test too early the chance of a false negative is high kasi it takes time for seroconversion to occur and it takes time to form antibodies na hinahanap ng test mo. Test a little late pwede ring hindi na madetect like in cases of neurosyphilis.

what do you mean doc? Kapag neurosyphillis di na madetect sa blood? Matagal na ung exposure ko and i dont even know if meron ung nakapartner ko siguro may 1year mahigit na. Blowjob ung exposure ako ung guy babae ung nagbj. So kapag neurosyphillis kelangan ng lumbar na? I thought mga tpha or fta- abs once meron for life madetect? Ung symptoms ko po ba sounds like it? Also can i take penicillin even if neg lahat just to make sure kahit magfalse neg sya.

Not necessarily, what I mean is pagnaglate stage na hindi na siya madedetect ng blood test possible time frame for late stage could occur as early as 2 years. Hindi na yan magiging present sa blood kasi umakyat na ang infection sa utak sa ganyang stage. There is this thing that we call blood brain barrier. Yung sinasabi mong FTA na lifetime is CSF FTA Yun meaning cerebrospinal fluid.

 

I think it is too early for you to conclude na may syphilis ka based only sa symptom na neuropathy. I suggest you open this up sa doctor mo but the chances of you getting one is so slim in this day and age. There are several diseases that are on the differential before reaching syphilis in your case. May I know kung bakit nagconclude ka na infected yung babae?

 

Next time magpatest ka regularly, kung active ka every three months kung medyo lang 6months. The point is regular testing whenever you had unprotected sex. Relax brought up mo lang yan sa doctor mo.

ok doc. Brought this up with my infectious disease doc 2004 took vdrl test neg The symptoms that i recall i had a rash 2010 had rpr neg. Also had a rash 2013 ata pero not sure how long it lasted di ako nagpatest. Bj usually unprotected.m not sure po if meron sya since bayaran. Just assuming. Meron din ako red or pink sore maliit lang malapit sa butas ng penis dont know when pero sandali lang nawala that was siguro last few years or last year. Had sorethroat did not take meds then lumpipat sa neck then Had a fever jan 2020 which came from a swelling sa right paa near the ankle just right below the fourth and fifth toes took amoxicillin and doc changed it to sultamicillin. Nawala thinking it maybe gummas?

Nagpacheck ako online with neurologist last dec 31 since neg daw both unlikely syphilis and based on my symptoms. Can venerologist check for neurosyphilis?

Also di ba pued ako magtreatment cycle kahit not diahnosed?

Boss, hiv test is only available in a hiv hub or hygine clinic (these caters std/sti/hiv patients). You can go to a tertiary hospitals both govt or private. If gusto mo clinic lang pde sa likea ng 'love yourself'. Dont worry they will not judge you and mayroon din counselor available dun. Hindi din kayo magkakakilala since they will schedule your consult na d nagkakakitaan and coded ang name ng patients. You'll be surprised na majority ng patient ay gays since 96-97% ng hiv ay group nila. But halo ang gender sa std/sti. Better consult this group of people (preferably infectious disease doctors) for that kind of problem since cases of resistant organisms is currently being seen at community level. Baka kc maging recurrent ang problem.

Now for syphillis, madali lang ang identification and test for patient who are suspect of having this. Treatment is generally with a very good cure rate. However, ang neurosyphillis has no gold standard for diagnosis. Mahirap maDiagnose unless may neurologic symptoms like seizure, headache, meningitis. If you have a previous syphillis pde sya magdevelop pero matagal pa and if d naTreat dati or inadequate treatment. Commonly nakikita sya sa immunocompromised patient or elderly na. Kung bata ka pa better check ang hiv status. Usually kc if may std or sti kailangan ma rule out na walang hiv.

Sex is good and I like it. Ang advise ko lang make sure that you are protected. For extra care, you may inspect muna ang labia or lambi ng keps ng thera while doing foreplay. If may amoy na kakaiba, may singaw, kakaiba ang kulay (sobrang red or grayish) or discharge.. Ihinto mo na at malamang STD/STI yan. Pde ka din magtanong kung may health certificate sya from hygine clinic ng LGU. Usually sa QC or pasay may nagIssue from health department ng certificate that they are negative sa hiv, normal urinalysis and fecalysis din ata. Parang i.d. card yun. Its up to you hanggang saan ka magiging cautios sa activity mo basta keep safe.
