angel_by_day
Just wondering. Is there something wrong when you feel bloated almost everyday? i consume more than 8 glasses of water everyday. :upside: dyspepsia can cause that. Either acid-related, or maybe the non-ulcer type(meaning, you undergo endoscopy and no visible gastric or duodenal ulcer is seen). i dont see anything wrong with consuming more than 8 glasses of water. you excrete it thru urine and other bodily fluids, anyway, provided your kidney function is ok. as long as you dont have "abnormal" abdominal enlargement and as long as your bowel movement is fine, then you'll be fine. If your symptoms persist, you can go see a gastroenterologist (Johardue is one) who might request for either Ultrasound of the abdomen or endoscopy (gastroscopy in particular. google mo na lang), or both. Depending on the severity of your symptoms. Quote Link to comment

TIA In many cases of diarrhea, replacing lost fluid and salts is the only treatment needed. This is usually by mouth – oral rehydration therapy – or, in very severe cases, intravenously. Diet restriction, to known well-tolerated foods, and the BRAT diet and its extensions, may be used for 1-to-3 days. However, limiting milk to children has no effect on the duration of diarrhea. Medicines such loperamide (Imodium), bismuth subsalicylate (as found in Pepto Bismol and Kaopectate) may be beneficial, however they may be contraindicated in certain situations. Prescribed medications sometimes contain pain-killers, such as morphine or codeine, to counter the cramps that can accompany diarrhea. :mtc: Quote Link to comment
