*badass*
Meron nang scripted na tanong at mga sagot ng mga invited.exactly chief...gaya nang naisulat ko dati, this boxer turned senator was so pathetic during the committee hearing on energy. i was there when he tried to show the committee as if he knew something...akala mo may alam sa napaka-technical na power issues. binabasa na nga lang yung binibigay ng staff niya, nagkakalat pa. i do miss those times when the hon. sergio osmeña, III used to chair this committee. as it is now, with pacquiao as a member, this committee will be a circus. this senator should know kung ano ang pinapasukan niya. can you just imagine if the honorable senator pacquiao will be running for vice-president 6 years from now...and wins? tsk tsk tsk 1 Quote Link to comment
Richmond
photographer
HBO snubs Pacquiao's comeback fightABS-CBN NewsPosted at Aug 18 2016 08:29 PM Manny Pacquiao’s upcoming fight with Jessie Vargas won’t be shown on HBO.What’s more, the American cable and satellite TV network has reportedly given up its contract to air the rest of Pacquiao’s fights.Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, is shopping around for a new broadcast partner that will help him distribute the Filipino boxer-senator’s comeback fight on November 5.“It’s going to be distributed on Dish (Network), Direct TV, etc., etc., and now we’re working on a distribution partner to fill the role of HBO,” Arum said in RingTV. “Definitely it’s not going to be HBO.”Arum said HBO, which held the airing rights to Pacquiao’s bouts for years, has decided to prioritize another fight.“HBO had a contract and decided to pass because it was two weeks in front of their Ward-Kovalev fight,” he said.Sergey Kovalev’s bout with Andre Ward will take place on November 19 in Las Vegas on HBO pay-per-view. This will be two weeks before Pacquiao’s return bout.Arum said this gives them an opportunity to air the fight elsewhere, including TBS (Turner Broadcasting System), ESPN and HBO’s rival network Showtime. The promoter also said HBO's decision effectively ends Pacquiao’s agreement with the American network.“If they hadn’t passed on the right, we wouldn’t have had any option,” he said. “They had a contract.”Showtime has already said it is open to carrying Pacquao’s fight but it has yet to hold discussions with Arum.“I haven’t spoken to them,” Arum said. “But there would be no impediment to that.” Quote Link to comment
r35gtr
retire na, hindi na nakakatindig balahibo ang laban niya. and dapat irefund ang pera ko sa sama ng Pacquaio mayweather Quote Link to comment
bizzboll
pati hbo tinangihan na sya.... i can't blame hbo since may payperview din si ward at kovalev which is 10x more interesting than pacquiao/vargas fight.... Quote Link to comment
startoffbeat
It does not matter who airs his match. But with hbo turning him down, this should be a sign that his capability to sell a fight is not as strong as it was. To Pac, it does not matter. He is just milking every million dollar that he can get. 1 Quote Link to comment

Juan Bird
He should stay RETIRED so he can focus on his family, and his Senate duties! I will NOT watch any more of his fights if/when he un-retires, as he broke his promise not to fight anymore! Edited September 1, 2016 by mrconfusion87 Quote Link to comment

bughaw1
Iba din kasi lifestyle ni manny. Magastos maging "amo". Quote Link to comment
The Cunning Linguist
Still one of the best pa rin though. Kaya sana mag retire na on a win against a top caliber opponent gaya ni Timothy Bradley. Tama na yun. Saka senador na siya. Tatakasan nanaman niya tungkuling pinasok niya? Mahiya naman siya.
