amante
Pacman-Marquez III could turn up to better than the Mosley or even a Mayweather fight. Marquez will mix it up (not run away) as this is a grudge fight, hindi bale nang bumagsak. And he has some confidence because the 1st 2 fights were close calls. But of course Pacman has improved a lot since his last fight with Marquez, and Marquez might have problems fighting in a heavier weight class. Of course, he has to prove himself first with the match with David Diaz. With more than one year of lay off, Mayweather is in no condition to fight Pacman outright. Bugbog sarado siya diyan. It's not going to be a good fight. If he wants to fight Pacman with a chance of winning he probably needs to have a tune-up match first para bumalik yung condition. Better, probably, yes. I just don't see JMM do a Clottey or Mosley. However, palagay ko this is another one of those "money maker" just to keep the public interested enough if ever may pagasa pa ang pacman-gayweather showdown. My forecast....Pacquiao in 5. JMM is coming into this fight with all the disadvantage He'll be 38 years old by NovemberKailangan nyang magpabigatHis last fight at with Mayweather was not at all impressive Then again, hindi mapupulot ang $5M kung saan-saan lang. MP-JMM is Marquez' retirement fund. Pacquiao, Bob Arum, Top Rank and their cohorts are the reasons why boxing is in a decaying stage. This boxing mafia is controlling the industry by pitting manny against inferior, old and has been fighters....and Manny is more than a willing victim....gone are the days of Duran, Hagler, sugar ray etc...an era wherein the best fighters are willing to fight each other not just for the money but for the prestige and for the boxing fans!!!! Pacman is a hypocrite...his standard "fighting for country kuno" or "him willing to fight anybody" is a nothing but a bunch of bullshit!!!He can easily say no to Bob Arum and fight the best boxers out there...f#&k him and also those who voted for him... :angry2: Pre, lets put things in perspective. Kung halimbawa ako ang nasa lagay ni Pacquiao baka ganun din ang gagawin ko Pacquiao's rise to the top did not happen overnight. Madaming taon din ang ginugol niya para marating ang kinalalagyan nya. Why would you risk years of hardwork kung wala maliit lang ang maipapasok nito sa kaban mo? Besides, kung sakaling manalo ng sya sa mga tulad nila Berto or Ortiz, hindi ba kaawa-awa din naman ang career ng mga ito? Pasikat pa lang, malalaos na sila dahil mapapatapat sila kay Pacquiao. Pacquiao is 32 (or 33). I figure he'll still be in top form for another 2 or 3 years. Maybe, he's saving up his last fight for these up and comers. Who knows? You know? LOL! Quote Link to comment
MikeyArrovo
madadagdagan nanaman ang stats ni JMM Madadadagan na ang bilang ng kanyang paghiga sa ibabaw ng lona Quote Link to comment

SaintPeter5858
Boxing belongs to the Filipinos, at least in the lower weight classes. Hope we can have more "Mannys" in the future who'll bring glory to our country. Quote Link to comment

SaintPeter5858
style lang ni dela hoya yan para hindi masira ang company nya ahabang nasa rehab sya. ceasefire muna kasi wala sya walang laban ang GBP. Pero pag ok na sya, banatan ulit nyan ang pacquiao camp. Part of his media blitz I guess. They need to sound controversial so that other media outlets will interview them and, in the process, add to their popularity. Quote Link to comment

Is there any possibility of him and others like Viloria, Donaire et al to fight for the Phils during the Olympics? meron po! kung totoong magreretire si manny sa 2012, at hindi na siya lalaban uli sa professional boxing... after 2 or 3 years eh mawawalan na siya ng license as professional boxer, therefore amateur na uli siya. kung mangyari yun, sa 2016 olympics pwede niya represent ang bansa natin... ^_^ Quote Link to comment

It's already long overdue. We've got to lobby for more support in boxing. Suntok sa ginto ika nga. Quote Link to comment
