plush
Hypocrisy abounds in superfight fiasco http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news;_ylt=AruF...o&type=lgns Quote Link to comment
wizard23
^ taken from the article above so i can comment on it. No one in this mess looks good. Pacquiao created much of it himself by simply refusing to accede to the testing, which would include random blood and urine draws. If Pacquiao had agreed, the fight would be signed and he wouldn’t be complaining that his reputation has been damaged. ****************** so it's not only gayweather's fault. it's a simple blood testing. the issue here is the random thing. but it's really psychological. you don't get weak by letting out a spoonful of blood. i really hope that when push comes to shove, Manny Pacquiao will finally give in to floyd's request because if MP agrees finally to floyd's demands and floyd comes up with another additional requirement, then you can be sure, that gayweather is ducking it and the projected superfight won't really push through. magtatah0ng
The idea that Pac "refused to be tested" came from Golden Boy's press release and it's being repeated everywhere I look in the media and in forums. Apparently it is now in everybody's mind even though it's not true. I heard Oscar deleted his blog post because it makes him liable in the defamation lawsuit. Schaefer did some damage control by saying that Pac did agree to the blood test, and that it is only the cutoff date that is being negotiated. But the damage has been done to the man's name and everybody is now saying (erroneously) that Pac "refused to be tested". He has a very strong case. Who knows, if they agree to a testing schedule and the fight pushes through, he could end up taking Golden Boy and Pretty Boy's money if he proceeds with the lawsuit. Quote Link to comment
KingCrab777
KingCrab777
di naman lumilitaw steroids kung ngayon papa test si pakman dapat sa gabi ng laban at after the fight.eh yung Nevada Athletic Commission naman nagsabing ganun ang test di ba? before and after pero urine test pwede. may pamahiin nga si pacman sa blood test eh. after siguro ok lang. kasi naman sa tinagal tagal pinaguusapan ito bakit at this stage of the fight calendar pa nag dadakdak si Wagdu Floyd? dami eche bureche. aminin nalang na atras yagbols na siya!!!!!!! baka nasa lalamunan niya yagbols niya nalunok kaya iisa nalang!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
pits_of_jairo
dapat me counter din si pakman vs gayweather abangan.Siguro ang magiging counter ni Pac dito is to sue those people talking smack about him. For sure matatalo sa case ang kampo ni Mayweather at magbabayad sila ng Danyos Perwisyos (is that correct?) kay Pac. Then itutuloy ang laban kasi broke na si Gayweather and gugulpihin naman siya ng husto ni Pac. Pwede! Quote Link to comment
denimhead
a good read and radio interview ... on the pacman - mayweather hoopla D Source Quote Link to comment
chicboy18
Still I'm doubting that this whole fiasco is just a way to setup the mega-fight. They're making it "Now it's personal" angle. Because why would Arum pick Malignaggi to replace Mayweather where in fact, Malignaggi is one of those boxers who publicly suggests that Pac is on the juice? Why isn't he part of the lawsuit? Mas grabe pa nga mga hirit ni Malignaggi eh. Anyways, I think Schaefer and Arum thought that they can squeeze even more money if Pacquiao fights Malignaggi first and Mayweather fights Matthew Hatton first before the mega-fight. Well it's just a thought though. Quote Link to comment

wizard23
^ well good points out there don juan casanova. though i believe most MP fans know the truth and we are not really swayed into believing gayweather's accusations. it's just so hard to believe that gayweather will try to evade this superfight when obviously he needs money more than MP!!! plush
Arum ruled out malignaggi as the alternative opponent and instead wants yuri foreman. lets get it on! id love to see an 8th title! Quote Link to comment
wizard23
maybe both camps will come to their senses and will work out a compromise deal in spite of pacquiao's suing the camp of gayweather. this multimillion dollar fight is too good to pass up and it will have a negative impact on both fighters if it doesn't push through.
