Enough of being a Mr.Good Guy anymore. Just get on with the lawsuit, Manny!

 

You should pursue the lawsuit against those who allegedly tarnished your reputation such as Mayweather Senior and his son Junior, Richard Schaefer, Oscar de la Hoya, and the two advisers of Junior, Haymon and Ellerbe

 

And you should leave no stone unturned and use all the resources necessary to win it, including high powered lawyers and medical experts.

 

Then donate the net monetary gained from the lawsuit to charities in the Philippines particularly those involving the home less and the abused women and children.

 

That should really make you look good in the eyes of everyone and feel good about yourself to boot.

 

Forget about accepting a simple public apology.

 

Remember, a ruined reputation is very difficult to regain. Not even the heavy punitive monetary awards to pay for the damages will help recover it fully. It helps, but not totally.

 

Without the lawsuit those who ruined your reputation will not learn a lesson and will potentially do it again and again. And, I am sure they will laugh at you behind your back.

 

Nothing can straighten up these accusers like a huge hole in their pockets.

 

And, forget about “changing minds” and deciding that a threaten lawsuit is enough.

 

With your statements indicating that you plan to file a lawsuit you placed yourself against the wall and there should be no turning around now.

 

You must do it, or potentially lose some credibility.

 

If you decide to drop the proposed lawsuit, you may appear weak in the eyes of the world, particularly the boxing fans. People will say you are “just talk and no action”.

 

Incidentally, “talk and no action” is not the making of a future Congressman.

 

Therefore, stop the posturing and go on with the damn lawsuit.

 

That is the best and the only way to stop the charade created by Team Mayweather.

 

Then get on the business of getting a fight with someone else on March 13th and winning the elections on May 10th.

 

But please, not a March 13th fight with Paulie. That guy is a pancake and has no chance to put up a good fight much less win it against you. He is not in your league, so to speak.

 

Step up one more weight class and fight Yuri Foreman and go for the legacy of being the only man to win titles in eight different weight classes.

 

You know what a “Pacquiao victory” over Foreman will do to your old foe de la Hoya and that cherry-picker, Mayweather Junior?

 

The said victory will rub it in deep and painful on them as they have no chance of ever duplicating such a feat!

From an article i read in yahoo sports, it was mentioned therein by schaefer that a footage shows pacman giving blood 14 days before his fight with hatton for purposes of testing. if pacman wasnt shown to be positive for hgh then, mayweather's argument that the reason for pacman's wins is hgh falls. they should just take back what they said bout manny and pray that he no longer sues them.

I think what he meant was kung di nag-positive sa drugs sa laban nila ni hatton eh di discredited na dapat kagad yung sinasabi nilang gumagamit si pacquiao ng drugs para umangat sa boxing. dapat dun pa lang, di na nagkaron ng issue. pero you really have a good point. i think si Arum has the best offer na "let the Nevada commission" decide. pero kahit dun, di pumayag sila schaefer. it's really obvious. No one in this mess looks good.

 

Pacquiao created much of it himself by simply refusing to accede to the testing, which would include random blood and urine draws. If Pacquiao had agreed, the fight would be signed and he wouldn’t be complaining that his reputation has been damaged.

so it's not only gayweather's fault. it's a simple blood testing. the issue here is the random thing. but it's really psychological. you don't get weak by letting out a spoonful of blood.

 

i really hope that when push comes to shove, Manny Pacquiao will finally give in to floyd's request because if MP agrees finally to floyd's demands and floyd comes up with another additional requirement, then you can be sure, that gayweather is ducking it and the projected superfight won't really push through.

The idea that Pac "refused to be tested" came from Golden Boy's press release and it's being repeated everywhere I look in the media and in forums. Apparently it is now in everybody's mind even though it's not true. I heard Oscar deleted his blog post because it makes him liable in the defamation lawsuit. Schaefer did some damage control by saying that Pac did agree to the blood test, and that it is only the cutoff date that is being negotiated.

 

But the damage has been done to the man's name and everybody is now saying (erroneously) that Pac "refused to be tested". He has a very strong case. Who knows, if they agree to a testing schedule and the fight pushes through, he could end up taking Golden Boy and Pretty Boy's money if he proceeds with the lawsuit.

Siguro ang magiging counter ni Pac dito is to sue those people talking smack about him. For sure matatalo sa case ang kampo ni Mayweather at magbabayad sila ng Danyos Perwisyos (is that correct?) kay Pac. Then itutuloy ang laban kasi broke na si Gayweather and gugulpihin naman siya ng husto ni Pac.

Still I'm doubting that this whole fiasco is just a way to setup the mega-fight. They're making it "Now it's personal" angle. Because why would Arum pick Malignaggi to replace Mayweather where in fact, Malignaggi is one of those boxers who publicly suggests that Pac is on the juice? Why isn't he part of the lawsuit? Mas grabe pa nga mga hirit ni Malignaggi eh. Anyways, I think Schaefer and Arum thought that they can squeeze even more money if Pacquiao fights Malignaggi first and Mayweather fights Matthew Hatton first before the mega-fight. Well it's just a thought though.
