I have read somewhere that the next opponent of Pacman will be Marquez according to Chino Trininad but I think most fans would like to see Pacman fight Mayweather instead.

Speaking of the fight against mayweather...........remind you all, it will be very very close to election time and Pacman might be distracted na by that time sa campaigning. Damn these politicians around him. Nagpapauto pa kasi si Pacman, eh! So from hatton to today........7 months......from today up to election time....less than 6 months. Paano kaya yun? Maglalabanan sila within 4 months para less distaction?

lack of experienced cornermen - diba nagpredict si roach ng 1st round knockdown? walang nangyaring knockdown. strategy lang ng team pacquiao ang ganun na press release. pero sa 3rd and 4th lumabas ang KO. team cotto didnt expect any knockdown after 1st round. cguro minaliit ng corner nya na makaka KO pa sa pacquiao since hindi natupad ang prediction ni roach. team pacquiao's strategy is like from the book art of war "appear weak if you are strong, let the enemy trust your approach as a weak person" then boom. after the 3rd and 4th round KO lumabas ang imaturity ng team cotto. Cotto still accepting does pacman's fist. till a big cut happen, he doesnt avoid the rope na mas gusto ni pacquiao na macorner si cotto. They trust that they can over power pacquiao. sa interview inamin ni pacquiao na ang strategy nila is not to take it quickly, kabaligtaran ng sinabi nila noon na 1st roud KO.

 

Lack of foot works- cotto appeared fighting like he fight a bigger man. in contrast he is fighting a faster and smaller guy. his strategy to fight fire by fire will be successful against a joshua clottey but not for a smaller pacquiao.

 

Lack of head movement- ung mga tama sa mukha nya ang ebidensya na easy target ang ulo nya kay pacquia.

 

only left hook- umasa sya sa left hook, while he must watch pacquiao vs marquez 1 & 2, kung saan left and right combination plus counter punching makes pacman less agressive.

 

pero i admire cotto's strength kung saan umabot pa sya ng 12 rounds. he must stop thinking that he can accept any kind of brutal punches, or else it will end up his career early.

Pacquiao doesn't need a fight with Mayweather but Boxing does

 

Kobe didn't need to win a fourth ring to prove that he's a winner. Lance Armstrong didn't have to win a seventh straight Tour De France title to establish his greatness. Derek Jeter didn't have to break Lou Gehrig's all-time hits record to be considered a Yankee legend.

 

Winners though, know no limitations. That's probably what separates a man like Manny Pacquiao from his peers. Recently, my fellow Examiner from Dallas Matt Stolow wrote an article saying how Pacquiao does not need a Mayweather fight for his career to be complete. Honestly, I agree. You won't get any arguments on me on that one. Pacquiao will go down as one of the greatest of all time with or without fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I believe that the Pacman- Mayweather fight won't push thru not unless the Mayweather camp agrees to swallow their pride and let Pacquiao camp dictate on the shares and stipulations of the fight

I was floored (pun intended). Didn't think the fight would be that easy for Manny. Too bad I didn't win my bet (Pacman by KO in the 9th).
