Edmund Dantes
Most experts agree that llamado pa rin talaga si Mayweather if they happen to eventually fight. But Pacman has a chance, given their style. That chance, however 'slim' scare the wit out of Floyd. FMJ is too inclined in preserving his '0' ; kung may talo na siya malamang matagal na rin niyang pumayag labanan si Manny Its more of Floyd's ego and his dispute with Bob Arum ang dahilan kung bakit di matuloy tuloy laban na ito. FLoyd can beat manny and he knows it. Quote Link to comment
Why So Serious
I think he should retire, leave politics, leave the showbiz spotlight and enjoy his life... Manny quit boxing before maging Ali the 2nd ka. Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes
Marquez dominated Alvarado, making him now the mandatory for Pacquiaos WBO belt. It seems there is one added reason why a 5th fight should happen. Marquez is still looking sharp, and I am not sure if at this stage of Pacquiaos career he can still do something to change his game and solve Marquez.

Edmund Dantes
This is bad... Another pacman vs marquez Bad for Pacquiao as I see it. Sure Alvarado does not have the speed, ferocity, and style of Pacquiao. But considering how Marquez could beat up a younger and bigger opposition at his age, hindi talaga dapat magpakampante ang team pacquiao. I didn't expect him to drop the guy the way he did last night. Kasi bukod sa counterpunching style ni Marquez na hangang ngayon hirap pa din sya, he now has to worry about his KO power. Talagang papatulugin nanaman ulit sya pag di sya nagingat. Bukod pa dun, he just can't afford another controversial decision. He has to win this one convincingly kahit umabot pa ito sa decision. If he wants to stay relevant that is Quote Link to comment

Edmund Dantes
Since I don't know where to post it, I will say it here na lang. Impressive win by Cotto. Best we have seen him so far. I noticed that from his past fights Maravilla was already on the decline. Its obvious also that his knees were shot, but for cotto to dominate this fight in such skilled fashion is indeed impressive and just deserves full credit for the victory. Roach really did a terrific job improving his game. I have long noticed that Cotto was always flat footed and had a messy footwork. But he came to this fight light on his toes. He also executed a perfect game plan. Using the left hook to which Martinez was a sucker for. When Martinez tried to switch to more precision boxing, Cotto boxed with him really smoothly. Plus a lot of improvement also on his defense. Definitely not the same fighter Pacquiao beat. Problem with Cotto is that he keeps switching trainers. I hope he sticks really with roach since so far he has brought the most improvement in his game. I can't wait to see him square it off with Canelo Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes
Pacquiao is gonna fight Chris Algieri in Macau on Nov. Ok to be fair, on the upside, he will be taking on another undefeated opposition. But seriously? Why this dude? What will Pacquiao gain from this fight. He beats this guy, people will just say he beat an inexperienced non-elite. He has only been in 20 fights and his most significant win was against Provodnikov via narrow split decision. Moreover, this guy has zero following.

Edmund Dantes
What the hell does Pacquiao know about coaching at the PBA level? I thought that this was a joke at first but, apparently, Pacquiao will be coaching a new PBA team. Sa isang banda, its good na he is trying to be a polymath and getting the most out of life. I mean how many of us will ever get to try many things like this. Sa kabilang banda, he is becoming way in over his head. Pero magconcentrate sya sa isang bagay one at a time sana. Kung gusto nya pa magboxing, dun muna sya tumutok. Pag nagretire sya, eh di aralin nya ng mabuti trabaho nya tapos saka sya maging full time na pulitiko. Yan kasi ang hirap, nagiging part time sya sa lahat. Part time athlete, part time politician, part time preacher, ngayon coach naman.
Edmund Dantes
The idea of Pacquiao coaching a PBA team is really hilarious as far as I'm concerned. Dela Hoya, Mayweather, etc, never even thought of coaching expansion teams in the NBA. I really have no idea what he's thinking but I think when his team starts losing a lot of games, he'll be laughed at by PBA fans. Like I said, this is nothing more but for the sake of his vanity and ego Quote Link to comment
